Do you believe that the internet can be a negative thing for people

I think that it can depend on different things. It does have its advantages, just like it has its disadvantages. It's just one of those things that can be difficult to say whether it's good or bad.

Well, littlefranciscan, congratulations on being such a prolific contributor to My Lot! Great work. To be honest, I'm not sure how to answer this question. The internet is both good and bad, don't you think? Good Things - you can get answers to almost any question you ask. You can find information on almost any subject you can think of - great for homework! Most websites I believe are probably honest and wholesome, and lastly, people (like you) can make money on the internet. Bad Things - Some websites are atrocious in their content. And maybe we spend far too much time on the internet when we could be out playing sport, doing hobbies and generally learning other things. I think perhaps I veer towards the positive side. I'd love to hear what others think, too. Good question!

I really think that people can be a negative thing for the Internet. The Internet is fine how it is, but the people who use it make it less fine. There is no force that is controlling us, but rather, we make our own choices as we surf on the Internet. It does take a bit of time, but there are a lot of things that are useful on the Internet. However, there are a lot of things that the people on the Internet can do that can make it negative. I think that there would be no bad things, if there were not people doing it. The Internet as it is is more than fine. It really does depend on how you use it and if it is used rather well. Everything will pan out in the end if it is used correctly.

To be frank, I think it has it's pro and con. How we determine if it is good or bad totally depends on how we see it. I think we have to use it with cautions :) Pros: Fast searching for informations Connect to friends and family in seconds Save up time and can go green (less papers) Cons: More fraud cases happen Wrong information found on the net Rumors spread easily Have a great day! :)

I think the internet is not always bring bad think, internet help me in completing my courswork

I think it has a pros and cons when it comes to us. The internet is not that good to be used alot of times because you get addicted to it, for example facebook. A lot of teenagers get addicted to that and I hate it when my sister quarrel just to use it often. It can also hinders someones study if he frequently used it. Also like the site wikipedia, everything here in the internet can be revised by any other person. Another example is the blogs. Blogs are just opinions about some issues but some people find that very useful.
