I would say there are treatments which can keep patients alive for many years so there is a "cure" for individul patients but not for the disease itself. There are so many different types of cancer, some of which are more aggreasive/invasive than others. I think there has been outstanding progress made in the early detection and prompt treatment which has contributed to higher survival rates. I think most cancer survivors are aware that they could suffer a recurrence but with regular monitoring, its likely to be spotted quickly.

Cancer is a diseases characterized by out-of-control cell growth. There are many types of cancer which destroys or harm the body. A cancer has a stages, of what i know first, second or third stage it can be save but when the cancer is on stage four, sad to say it incurable.

i think there "WOULD" be in the no too distant future. because we know that there are persons working on the medical field, specializing in research on cancer, so i think it's not that long before cancer will be called a "curable" disease.
