i have been a fan of this game but have a wish to play it on line . can someone guide me how? & where? & is it possible to play without installing it on our pc?

Have you tried googling Gameranger? Microsoft's website allowed you to sign up for an online version they were trialling a couple of months ago, but you had to be in the first 100 to sign up to play it. Heaven Games is another good website for it.
