Simple answer. Why not ask Mylot itself. It wold be good if some of us lived pure lives and did not have a past that we were ashamed of. Here we use alias instead of our true names, but on Facebook our true names are revealed, and that is why even though it seens good, it wold not be a good idea.

linking would not be automatic or compulsory, but it seems like some would enjoy and benefit from it. In fact having more traffic would benefit all of us.

I agree 110% about not wanting everything we say or do on here be shown to the world on Facebook I think this problem could easily be avoided by having a security section in settings to allow only certain posts to be shared via social network and you could also have a setting to turn off all your comments from being shared socially. It could even be made so simple as to add a check box next to the submit button saying "do not allow social sharing of this post" and you may ask me how a topic would
Then show up, I have a simple answer for that; simply state where the post is " this author has chosen to protect their posts to see this post please sign up at the following link. I have tins of ideas for this I'll share more

I think that is an excellent idea. It would also be a good way to invite more users to MyLot. I would hope that they would take this into consideration at some point.

Seems like a good idea. Though would you just have the origional poster have the ability to link to Facebook or all posters in the thread? The latter option would give more exposure to the discussion it seems to me.

more exposure should generate more pennies to the account!

Good idea! This is actually promoting Mylot to more people in the meantime while getting some possible referrals! NICE!

I think it would be nice if the posts were made a way to refer folks to sign up here and become part of our community.

I think that Mylot should give everyone who posts on a topic the ability to link to any of the large social networks; Facebook, Myspace, Tumblr, etc. It would greatly help with exposure not only for a given topic but for Mylot itself. It could very easily be set up so that when you link a discussion to one of the supported social networks its automatically embeds your referral link with the discussion link so that as you create new sign ups through linking they could track those sign ups.

that is a great idea!but in that case, you have to convince your friend.it would be useless if he/she will not join the site.it will only be added on the page view of the site but it won't help you to earn extra money.actually, your idea is good but before posting the link, convince your friend to be part of mylot and join under you.

jwf, you say "It is also possible at present for you to post a link to any discussion to your Facebook page (or anywhere else and this link will automatically contain your referral link." How do we do that?

There is already a "send this discussion to a friend" link which will send an email to the friend. I think that this will also include an embedded link to your account so that if the person signs up, as they'll need to do in order to post anything, then they'll go under you as a referral. a Facebook link could easily work in the same way.
It is also possible at present for you to post a link to any discussion to your Facebook page (or anywhere else and this link will automatically contain your referral link.
