What did you feel when you first scratched your car?

My uncle gave me and my brother a car about a month and a half ago, I named it 'X' since it's a Nissan Xtrail. Although we're supposed to share X, I'm the one who mostly use him since I drive better than my brother, plus I need him more than he does. Anyway, this evening, I scratched X. I felt so mad at myself because it was the first time that I scratched him. What's worse is that I'm already home, I was just parking him in the garage when my left side hit the gate. I know that it's tight on my left, it's hair-thin, I've been parking him for more than a month now, and this is the first time that happened. I feel so frustrated. Now, X has long scratches on his left back door and above the tires. Thank god, my mom didn't scold me. I don't know if it made me feel better or worse though.
