I work online to earn money for my vacations. I have enough money to pay for my living but I love to travel and could go nowhere if I didn´t work online. So my avatar is always a picture that reminds me of my last vacation and tells me to work hard so that I will have another one as wonderful as the last one.
My avatar is now a picture I took when I went to Arica in my country, Chile.Arica is at sea level but you can take a tour to the Andes and reach the highest lake we have in Chile )Lake Chungará, at 4.800 meters of altitude). There you see our highest volcano, the Parinacota, also in the picture. You can see vicuñas on the way up. They are cousins to the llamas but cannot by domesticated and their fleece is a lot softer than llama wool.
Before this avatar I had another from the south of Chile (went there in April) and before that I had a picture of myself aboard a sailing ship, when I went for 3 weeks as part of a sailboat crew at the Caribbean.

That's so cool. I wish I could do the same thing! Too bad, I don't earn that much online.
I wish that someday I could go visit your country. It seems wonderful.

It does seem like hard work. This is sort of a sideline for me, so I don't really have much time doing this. I answer and post as much as I can though.

My picture is actually one that I took of the sunset at a river landing not too far from my house. I chose it because I thought it was a good picture, and also because it was one that I actually took myself.

There are photo opportunities all around you where ever you happen to be. You just have to be open-minded, and you don't need expensive cameras or equipment. The key is to not worry about what other people are going to think about the pictures you take. Just take pictures, and you will find the good ones. I took this picture with a cheap digital camera, and I really had no idea it had turned out as good as it did until I got it home and loaded it on my computer.

I know. Especially when you're with people who matter the most to you. Photo ops doesn't need extravagant places or expensive equipment. To me, the subject is more important. :)

Yes, it's a really good picture. I wish I have something like that near my house too.

My username, and my flags match. My mother was born in Denmark, and my father was born in Canada. That's why I call myself Danishcanadian.

As you can see, mine is a car, a blue Chevrolet Camaro. I think it represents me, the aggressiveness and the high performance horsepower of the engine, I feel it represents my impatient character. Yea, this's what I think, LOL

mine is a picture of our first album
AcidRadio
with me up front, wearing red
behind me are my bandmates,
the long haired guy wearing black is my best friend, Domz, who played bass. He's in thailand now and has been replaced by my sister's ex boyfriend, Dave.
The fat guy with long hair is my guitarist Kino, who is currently back in college studying to be a seaman
and the other bald guy is Kym, my drummer
i'm up front cause i always lead the group (at first i didn't want to be the leader, eventually, i felt comfortable in that position) and they're behind me to signify that without them i am nothing

That's a good picture. I always wanted to have a band. Too bad, I'm not musically talented. What instrument do you play in the band?
