how to study english?

hello, Since you/me and other nations are not native English speaking people,it takes time for us to learn the English language. One best way to improve our English skills is to watch English movies and imitate the way they speak and how they pronounce the words correctly and also the English accent is easy to hear with movies. Speaking in English doesn't mean only with how well you speak,but should be fluently and with the right intonation to sound like American and for the American to understand us better. You need a lot of patience and time in order to learn English ,but it pays you a lot too. Have a great day

hi,it is not that much easy or not so hard..it's all depend on your confidence and strong desire to learn.Try to speak in English only as far as maximum possible.And refer books,news papers,view T.V for English broadcasting scenes.....All the best and have a nice time.

I think the best way to learn English is read and speak. Try to mix around with those good in English. You will improve a lot. My English is very very poor last time. But i mix around with someone that good in English. At first, they laugh at me when i said something wrong but don't care. Try and try again. And of course, i learn from them also. Now, i can speak a fluent English. Don't give up. You will improve if you really put afford to learn something. Happy mylotting.

Practice, practice. Mylot is a good place to practice your English. Try watching videos in English all the time and watch movies as well. It really helps when you don't have anybody to practice with. I am trying to improve my German and that's what I do. There aren't many Germans around my hometown to practice with but there's a restaurant and the owner happens to be German and some of the clients, me and my friends hang out there once in a while and practice, gosh I am still horrible at it but it is good practice.

Hi karenviv! You can learn English by listening to the radio or reading the newspaper. Most importantly, is to mix with people who speaks good English and are willing to help you improve on your English. You can also do some simple English exercises on the internet and when you standard improves you can do more advance ones.

Yup, if you learn in school and other institute that only give lecture, you can only be a passive user english.. the only way to become an active user english is to use it in your real life.. I learn to use my english as my daily life was when I have to work in the place where everybody use english.. don't affraid to make mistake and even everyone laugh at you by the accent or mistake you use in english.. just consider that all of them are encourage you and think that you are a funny and good to be friend with for them :)

Hi karenviv, welcome to mylot city. Learn English while you read newspaper, hear to news and talk. Observe carefully what the others are talking about and about the subject matter and present it when you need it, practice like this whatever you hear through others try to speak out or express in your words adding those phrases. Talk to your friends in English. Here in mylot many are UK and US people are there their English will be good read their discussion and try to understand, it may help you. As you are engaged in foreign trade, you will be meeting many people with different languages but common language is English.
