Do you own in your collections some rare stamps?

I do have some rare stamps in my collection.I have just read it from some stamps site in the web that I knew I have such stamp.I am quite amazed as to its price because I have bought my stamps from a bargain sale only,yet now it cost more than I expect it to be.My other rare stamp is from my old collection which are also bought in an auction
of an old stamp album containing the great stamp.Just keep on collecting and I bet that
you can also find a rare stamp in your purchase.I know you guys out there has some story to tell about your hobby.Please tell us about your thrills in obtaining such rarities.

Unfortunately, I never tried to collect them but it seems enjoyable.

Collecting is sometimes weird like you have a collection at first you do not like it
until you tend to love it later.Some collectors tend to collect for investment purposes because they just collect rare and elusive stamps.Many stamp collectors just keep on collecting until they can know that they have a rare stamp in their collection.
