a couple of hours ago the supreme court's acquitted hubert webb and the other suspects of vizconde massacre. it really hurts after 20 years from the moment it was happened the accused have been acquitted. though it is obvious, specimen, the only evidence to proved that it was them who did that massacre was burned and it is obvious that the accused command to the one who burned.
if vizconde massacre got 20 years in court yet the bottomline is the accused have been acquitted how much more is the maguidanao massacre? how it will take to the court? 20,40? yet, the bottomline will be the ampatuan family will be acquitted..what's the use of that many courts we have, our supreme court, the juries, the justices???
are they for display?
or worst, wasting the money of our government????!!!!
it's better to kill those accused if there's no justice to be fair and have the real justice of your own hand if we have that kind of justice.

I really felt sad and sorry for Lauro Vizconde, he has been denied of the justice he's been seeking since the day his family was brutally murdered. Personally, i am not truly convince of the innocence of the acquitted persons involved. If they are truly innocent why didn't they used their money and power to find the true criminals so as to clear their names and not waste so many years in prison? so many questions arises, are the judges from the lower court and court of appeals, who had convicted the suspects, that blind to have overlooked crucial evidence that leads to the acquittal of the suspects? or the problem was really with the supreme court? after all this happenings, there is only one big question everyone wants to know the answer, who did the crime? I hope Mr. Vizconde will find justice soon.

eversince i learned to talk & understand things of things, there's no justice i have been heard only if you put justice in your arms like what real rebels did. i may sounds a rebel but yes, it's true. that's rebellion in our country can't be eliminated because our government, our justice is unfair.

I wont be surprised if Lauro Vizconde loses faith with our justice system.
This farce court favors the powerful, the moneyed and the influential.

well, for me, if i am lauro vizconde the money i used in the cost of the court if i pay hit-man to those suspects to know that they are the one who did that brutal massacre.i am at peace now. i have the justice for not more than 1 year. i may sounds criminal but it really hurts, the systems of our justice is not fair.

Bottomline my friend is I think it is about time that there has to be JURIES in the courts. It is about time that private citizens will intervene with the hearing of heinous crimes like that of Vizconde's and Maguindanao massacres.
What made me disappointed with the decision was that 4 justices have abstained. It is of course suspicious when 7 is for acquittal, and 4 are not, then another 4 abstained? Obviously very suspicious.

Hi joyn. I am not taking the side of those who were acquitted nor will I take the side of Lauro Vizconde.
I think both of them were victims in this case. Lauro Vizconde lost his family to heartless criminals 15 years ago while Hubert and company lost 15 years of their lives being imprisoned for crimes that they did not commit. So where is the justice there?
In the Philippines we often see people being tried by publicity. Hubert and company were already viewed as guilty even before they went on trial in the courts.
We can not make sweeping statements about people or our justice system because we all have limited knowledge. We should commit this to the hands of an all-knowing God and the only one who can execute perfect justice.

The justice in the Philippines is of poor quality. Justice is for the rich and powerful. The poor and powerless receives injustice. The supreme court really favors the rich when they are handed money. The accused easily gets out of jail and the victims cannot get justice.

hello jornz87!
if the accused are really guilty and have been acquitted of their crime, well, they would not be so lucky in the next life. God is watching and He will punish those who have truly sinned.
i don't know why it had taken this long to issue the final verdict. It's so sad to contemplate that the justice system of the Philippines is snail-type for crimes that should have swift justice. As has been said, justice delayed is justice denied. and to think that the outcome is not what most people had expected. it's really so sad, for the part of the victim's family and the family of the suspects too. it has been a very long 20 year waiting time indeed which i'm sure had put a strain on each family involved.

For me justice here in the Phillipines is imbalance and not fair. Like in Maguindanao Massacre that is so obvious for the suspected person. They have to give justice for that but as of now its not yet finish and no justice yet.. How about the Vezconde Massacre, it is acquited and they say tthat the evidence are not enough, hmm. thats not reasonable.. Non sense justice.,, Unfair. . I hate Justice here in The Philippines..

I really feel disgusted while watching this news on T.V. It just shows that the justice system in this country really sucks big time. It does not take a high school graduate to determine who really are the criminals, yet it took 20 years for this damn courts to come up with such decision. Oh well, we can't blame people if next time around they would rather choose extrajudicial killing.
Amptuan case?..naahh..it's obvious.

hi jornz87,
Even before I don't believe anymore with our justice system here and it's very shameful for us because of full corruption and powerful people in our country will always win the justice. The supreme court can't have legal proof and evidences for that case because long years ago it was burned by the Police Investigator, come to think of it justices?.. Two courts convicted the accused but the supreme court acquitted them, how sad!..I hope that thing will not happen in the Maguindanao Massacre because lots of people was killed that time.

The justice system is not fair to all mankind and if you don't have some money it's
much worst. We the people have let the law get away with to much. We need help from
the justice system of God Almighty.
