Reading news online

I think most of us have the habit of reading news paper, but with the advance technology, we now have the online news where we can reads news from the world easily.
But there are still many people do not like to read news from the internet, they prefer to read from the news paper because you can take your time to read and you can read it any where you like and is cheaper when compare to online news where you have to have the computer and network access to the website.
Where do you normally read news from? From the news paper, from the internet or you do not read news at all? I think no matter which one you prefer, there must be a reason.

I prefer reading in the newspaper more. Sometimes online news won't feature everything that's on the newspaper. I prefer reading newspapers as they provide more information and well, it feels traditional

Reading news online is the best way to read news. Not that I read the news much anymore but when I do, its done online. It is up to the minute and current. While newspapers can be slightly dated, due to the limitations that come with them. Just hop on CNN.com or whatever the news site is at any moment and you can check out the news right away.

Right now I am more often reading news online since I am exposed to internet about half day of my life. I rarely have a chance to sit back and enjoy reading newspaper. Usually I opened bloomberg, financial times, or yahoo to read world news and local website called detik.com for local news. I think internet news nowadays are more current and real time, with newspaper since it is daily news we get more comprehensive coverage about the daily events

I think the technology became too advance, we might lost something that we usually do like enjoying reading newspaper while having our breakfast. Once you read news from the internet, you may not reading it the whole full hours but end up you will doing something else like checking mail or login to social network site. And you actually not really finished reading all the news that happened yesterday.

Every morning, I read the newspaper. In case there is some interesting news in the World Section, I try to search it on the net as the International Section news interests me and often there are not many details in the newspaper.
For the Local India news... that has become boring these days... every day same verbs and adjectives only the names and amounts keep changing.

When you talk about the new are similar everyday, it let me think of think where someone asked me, do you want to read some hot news like murder, bank being robbed and bla...bla...bla..from the newspaper or you do not want all those thing to happen? And if nothing happen, you will definitely find it boring.

Well I prefer reading new online when we have access to internet and i prefer reading from news paper when we don't have access to internet. say like when we are on journey, we would definitely prefer news paper.

Before we used to buy newspapers. But since news are online and readily available for us, what we read on newspapers are just exactly the same on the news online so we don't buy newspapers anymore.
Why spend money when you can already read it via internet that you also pay. It is redundancy for me and not unless we really needed newspapers for cleaning our mirror. But anyway, as what you ask, we don't buy now, we just read and watch the news online, after all we paid for our internet connection.

That was what I did sometime, I too reading news from the internet but it seem like not the same like when we read news from the newspaper. For me, to read news from internet will make my eye sore where I have to stare at the monitor for hours but with newspaper, I can go to any where I like such as under a tree.

Well I still love reading newspaper but I do not like paying for the subscription fee or pay for it everyday. Since I also work online and I'm subscribed for broadband Internet, I may use it as well to read news paper online. Sometimes I really do not have any time to spend to read newspaper in the office, so I can just quickly have a look online anytime I have a free time. I do read news paper on my day off while having my coffee and solve those quizes and the sudoku in it. Have a nice day

You must be quite busy with your daily work. Everyday, I will spend at least 1 hour to read news from paper, I do not like to read news from the internet. I find that the news in the internet is not too complete where some of the minor news will not be publish on the internet. With newspaper, I can enjoy my time while reading it and have my breakfast or during tea time.

Reading electronics Newspaper is definitely not my favor at all.
I have been reading newspaper for so many years.
Whenever I am free, I can just take it out to read, to extract the portion I want, to scratch and highlight certain articles, to cut and paste and so on.
About the electronics newspaper or online news, I lost all of my habits.
However, I might still consider to change my habit if I am provided a newspaper reader which I can download my daily news in the morning or during the mid-night.
Then I can carry along to read the news whenever I want to.

I think there are way to do it since there is this new gadget call iPad, you can access the internet using iPad and use it as the normal computer. It is small and light, so you can carry it everywhere.
As for me, I still prefer the old style of reading news, which is from the paper. It make me feel more comfortable when compare to online news. In addition, I think the news in paper is more complete where you can find those minor and local news where sometime you can't get it from internet.

For me, I am a technology geek which I can't leave without my phone and laptop. No laptop is fine but phone, i need it badly!
I have ap mobile on my phone and i really noticed that i count on it alot. i read it whenever i can and i also has rss installed. so, i am basically news on the move and i really like it.
however, newpspaper has its positive side also. newspapers are great companion when we are in the toilet or e=over a cup of coffee/tea in the morning :)

Many people cannot live without the cellphone. It is so convenient today with the technology where you can reach any news instantly from your finger tips, you just need to look into you cellphone for news.
I think it is a bad habit to reading news paper in the toilet while you are doing your big business. CAUTION! You Might Get Constipation!

Hi! That is what I did sometime too, there are some of the news that we can't get it in the local newspaper but we can easily get it from the internet. But I still prefer newspaper because it is cheaper and for me is more comfortable to read from newspaper.
