I admit: I´d LOVE to be successful

We all need to be successful. We want it, we crave it, either we do or don´t admit it. Okay, values are different for each and every one of us. Some of us want to achieve financial success, others´ goal is to make a family of their own, enter the Guinness Book and so on. I am now ready to start a discussion - with all of you! - about what YOU consider to be a major success in a person´s life. It could be anything, so let´s challenge the broad area of the topic a little bit. Personally, I strive for financial success. Which is directly linked to having a successful career. What would YOU love to be successful in?

It is a grand feeling to be a success. However, if we are just a success, then there will be no lessons learned. Trust me a bit of success here and there goes a long way. When we fall from those heights, failure does sting a lot more and it is rather frustrating to try and dig ourselves out of these holes. I try and make the most out of everything and often times I succeed. Sometimes I bite off more than I can chew and am sent back to the basement to scratch my way up.

Absolutely, all of those people who are successful with multi million and billion dollar empires, they would not be as successful as they stopped cold. They improved on what they did, with their share of bumps along the way.

Maybe the learning part takes place as we´re climbing our way up to success. To be successful from your own powers takes quite a bit of work, and if you handle it right, then i think you have all the chances to be successful over and over again. The bad part is that a lot of people give up after their first glimpse of success, thinking that "that was it". Thanks for your reply!

Well i am an aspiring entrepreneur and i wish to succeed in it and i am not planning to see my name in the Forbes 100 list. it is not as easy as it seems as success to most people is still a pipedream .But for this dream to substantiate, the most be willing to put effort that is only needed and not more or less than that and as the saying goes"if a man wants his dream to come true,he must wake up".

Hi,rocksy,,believe me,no one want to be a failure...For me,I was always thinking about do something for the poor,weak...Though now my ability is very limited...But I think I can do what I can do now..,Because you know ,,the more ability you have,that means you have more responsibilty...

That´s true. Nobody wants to be a failure. Although I have met a couple of people in my life who would have completely different purposes. Instead of helping the weak, they might find isolation to have a higher purpose. We can be successful on so many different areas of our life, it´s a little overwhelming. Thanks for your reply!

I would like to be happy, and in order to be that I think you need to be financially secure, have a job you life and your personal life in order. So because of that, I would love to be successful financially, in my career and with my family. Otherwise it is pretty hard to be happy, which is the main goal for all of us, I think.

who wouldn't want to be successful in life? of course everyone is dreaming of their success.. i just remembered when i was still a kid, my definition of being successful is to work in a bank.. and as i grew older, that's when i knew that being successful is far more than that.. i want to be successful financially of course.. to get rid of all my debts, buy our own house, get a car, and have my own business.. and in the near future, i want to start a family of my own wherein , i can send my kids to well-known schools so they can get quality education specially now our world is so competitive.. seeing my kids become successful is fulfilling.. and last of course is to fulfill my purpose from God, here on earth.. i dream that someday when i meet God in heaven, He can say, "well done.. my good and faithful servant.."
