I usually do rate discussions and responses that i have read or replied to. Well, its my way of noting that i have already finished reading a certain post.
How about you?
Do you also rate discussions and responses after you read or reply to them?

I rate after I read them. I can’t remember the last time I rated something negative; it has to be nasty or abusive before I’ll do that because if I don’t like a post I usually just move on to another and don’t bother rating at all. I find plenty every day that a worthy of a + so I award as I read.

I do at times. I always try to remember to do it but there are times that I don't have time to do it and so I try to go back in later and do it. There are also times that I do not remember to do these. It just depends on how busy I am that day.

That is a good strategy, especially if you are new, but really for anyone. You can only rate a discussion one time. I try to always rate.

Hi,
I rate almost all the discussions I started I choose the best response out of all the responses. I know it really encourages the person who had put his best thoughts in responding to the discussions. It is like a token of appreciation. I just check my profile once in two-three days if I have received any best responses.
I have received around 15 best responses and I rate the best response to all the discussions I start.

The discussion on the matter at hand is very interesting.
I feel we all should thank about our own ways of doing things and
reconsider, than look at ways to do things better in order to help others.

I always rate all replies and all discussions that I read. It's my way of telling that I have already seen it and discussed it.

Sometimes I do. When I find a response or discussion interesting, I'll rate it as positive. Although the original posters have no idea who will rate them, I find that it'll affect the overall environment here. The stars represent the quality and the higher it goes, the better the quality and perhaps, more people will come and join Mylot. Who knows?![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

Hello, i usually rate the responses of my discussions, but when i answer to someone else, just check really fast what the others has written and if i like some opinion i rate it.
The discussions - i never rate them. I don't know why, it's just the way it is since i'm here and i follow my own habits in mylot.
Soon i reminded myself for the option of BR, before that a lot of discussions was unresolved, so you can see alone how forgetful am i.
