is Anti-virus is enough?

Hello mylotters, Do you think having an Anti-virus in your PC is enough to protect and speed up your PC? For me it is a big no no. Anti-Virus is just a virus protection and prevent some malicious softwares and files. But when we have problem about registries, junk files and etc. anti-virus cannot do that. If you have knowledge to speed up your PC w/o using 3rd party softwares it is good, but if you don't have konwledge there is a lot of softwares that can speed up you PC in a single click. And I recommend to you Advanced System Care. Thanks.

A computer virus for some people is something very scary. How could I not, at some point when the computer is needed suddenly crashed and error. Although it can be overcome by using antivirus software is widely available for free on the internet. But, how it is actually less effective. Because antivirus usually be updated regularly. If your computer is not connected to the internet, it would not have antivirus updates can be done. In addition to updates, use antivirus software to prevent computer virus attacks are more sophisticated now only somewhat less effective because it takes time for the scanning process. And not all viruses can be detected by antivirus. Not only that the use of anti-virus also can cause the computer to be slow due to large file size. Except for certain antivirus like SmadAV. And not infrequently have more than 1 antivirus installed, but viruses, spyware, trojans still qualify, To anticipate that we need software that is more practical to secure our computers from viruses. And I recommend Deep Freeze as an alternative. Deep freeze software is quite powerful to secure our computers from viruses. Deep freeze is a way of working will restore back the data that has been in the deepfreeze as before when the computer is restarted. So, if the computer restarted, it will automatically virus viruses that infect our computers will disappear by itself. How do I download Deep Freeze? You do not need to worry, because the file can be downloaded for free here. How do I install Deep Freeze? 1. Install Deep Freeze on the drive that is not used to store data. Because once the computer restarted, the data stored on the drive that is installed deep freeze will go away and come back to normal. Select drive C to install Deep Freeze. While the D drive to store data. 2. After the installation is complete, then the computer will restart and you will be asked to enter a password. Remember password. However, if you forget to still be tricked by using Undeepfreeze. 3. Completed Deep Freeze can also be disabled if an when you want to install new software on drive C. You do this by pressing the CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + F6, enter the password. Then change it to Boot Thawed mode and restart the computer. Deep Freeze is now inactive. To revert to just change the boot mode is frozen and then restart the computer. To Uninstall Deep Freeze must be in a Thawed (inactive). And to uninstall Deep Freeze can use the same when we install it. Deep Freeze said some people have some effects on the computer, we must be careful because you know .. this software also can sometimes cause strange things on the computer. But, I've been using Deep Freeze is also still fine. Originally used by the fair. Here are the advantages and disadvantages of Deep Freeze, which I quoted from adabisnis.com: The surplus * No need for antivirus anymore because the system has been protected. Please note that diinstalkan Anti virus ate enough memory so that our computer sedkit slow. * Safe from Viruses as Deep Freeze will kick all who enter the system drive after restart * No need to fear loss of or damage to the operating system * There is no need in the Update * Can not try software is not yet known because it will not be stored so restarted so it does not have to worry if the hard drive and memory to be widely used. Deficiency * If you forget to turn off (Boot Thawed) for the desired program mengintsal then we had to do it again after restarting lgi * We can lose data if forget and save it on drive systems installed Deep Freeze * We must disable (Boot Thawed) if you want to change the settings windows

I always say to my friends that Antivirus is not at all enough to protect your system.. Advanced System Care.. Hats off..!! I use it from very long time.. I generally prefer following softwares to be installed on my system either it's desktop or laptop or server... I always install them first even it's mine or other's :-).. Antivirus (Symantec, Macafee, KIS, Quick Heal either of these) Firewall (Comodo, Zonealarm) Antispyware (Windows Defender for runtime) On Demand Antispyware (Spybot search and destroy) On Demand cleanup and utility tool (Advanced System Care)

not really, even if you have the best anti-virus out there.. because those who made viruses in the first place, made the anti-viruses, so in order for them to keep on having sales, they keep making programs, each 'better' than the other, but the viruses keep getting 'stronger'. i'm sure they can make just one program to be able to keep them all at distance, but i'm sure in no time, that program will be all over torrents and download sites, so they won't make much business that way

Yes, I think Anti-virus is not necessary. You can turn on UAC if you use MS Windows for your computer. Each time any application runs, a pop up window will appear to ensure that you want to open it. If something you think it is virus runs, you can select No on that pop-up. :)

anti-virus alone is good until you connected your pc to the internet. but in any cases it is always better to add some anti-malware, firewall and some cookie cleaner. im using all free software that i can updated everynow and then, though some malwares are not recognized by it. I'm still satisfied on its performances.

I rarely get any viruses and antivirus doesn't speed your pc but slows it down a little cause it's using resources. So I have a free antivirus on my laptop that I never needed and on other computer I have no antivirus. I'd say the most important element to internet security is firewall. Then some anti spyware program.

Hi there, I use AdvanceSystemCare too! That software is great in that, it can remove any spywares and malwares but the main purpose is to free up the space being taken up by junk files. Nowadays, with the improvement in technology, more viruses and trojans are being created and it's difficult to detect them. Virus especially, they have exactly 5 types and the most dangerous of them all is the memory-resident virus, which will lodge in the main memory of the OS and from then on, infect every program that executes.

Greetings I totally agree with you that antivirus is not enough. In a more literal level, I would say it isn't enough to have a good antivirus because, you need a good user as well. A good user can prevent damages done to the hardware of the computer. A PC is like a car, it needs to be cleaned regularly inside and out. One would handle it with care and know when something is not good for it. There we have it, a good user is important too :) Have a nice day :)
