How much are you loaded with debt burden?

There are people who are abnormally over burdened with heavy debt that takes away a large portion of their monthly current income in repayment of the loan and its interest, leaving a paltry amount to support their present needs. It severely affects their personal and family life,as a most part of their income flows out of their purse. It does not mean that debt is undesirable. A reasonable level of borrowing can be rewarding if it is wisely invested. As a matter of principle, debt to income ratio should not exceed 30 percent of your monthly current income to make a smooth sailing. How much are you loaded with debt burden?

As of today income of a father is not enough for the whole family because the growing economy crisis. ANd beside the children are all studying so the husband could not afford to support all our needs and now oblige to work too. well this is reality of life the only thing we do is to accept the facts that we are in the world of third country. Almost reached the line of poverty. But we will make it...

Sorry, I am not interested in any activities which acquires the part of my monthly income and I don't easily go with that. Because, I learnt to live with what I earn per month. Even if I get my salary reduced, I will manage to live with that small amount.

Well I currently owe around 2700 on a single credit card with an APR of 19.50 percent.I had the balance at 3000 just last billing cycle and was one of those revolver customers that just pays the minimum balance each month and this makes it take years even decades to pay down the entire debt principal.I put a lump 300 dollar payment this month instead of my usual 60 dollars and am going to put every cent I can afford to pay each month until the balance reaches the magic 0.00 number. After this I will not have to worry about unfair interest charges each month and am only going to charge things that I can afford to pay for rather then charging everything I cant pay for to a credit card.I learned a valuable lesson though about charging things to credit cards and will be very cautious in using them in the future.

Not very much, luckily I never had any big debts, even though I did use credit cards quite a lot when I was younger. But I never had very big expenses, so even when I was not as clever with money, I did not manage to add up any big debts. And now I would never do it, I do not want to be in debt, it is just not for me.
