I dreamt of a very close friend who passed away last year. The dream keeps creeping up and made me uneasy. Until I requested my staff to look at the profile of this friend who used to work with us before she retired. And there it was....IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY YESTERDAY.
I had goosebumps. Is it true that spirits could visit us and remind us or tell us something? It is a belief here in our country tho I don't much believe in it myself.
What do you think?

It's true. Spirits come and go but they do visit their friends or their loved ones with the intention of trying to convey a message to them. After all, they once lived on Earth, so there must be a purpose why they keep linking into the dreams of those people related to them right? So, I figured out that, your close friend who kept coming into your dream, possibly wanted to remind you that it was her birthday and it's a high possibility. Well, you can choose not to believe it and choose to believe that it's a coincidence, but such things can be true most of the time.

I must have sensed this as I requested our staff to look her up in our files and that was when my suspicion was confirmed that it was indeed her birthday. I prayed for her soul and greeted her happy birthday. She really was a very dear and close friend and I miss her.

Hi,
I don't have much idea about spirits, never though of their existence too. I respect others beliefs and their trusts so I don't comment anything on that. But I try to put my understanding in words below.
It is your sub conscious mind that is thinking of her and her memories. I happens due to some chemical releases in the brain.Your mind keeps thinking of certain people in its subconscious(when you are asleep) state. So just do what she likes, and everything will be normal.

Hello calpro. Actually I have not been thinking of her for long. But I think you have a point there. We do go out every December for her birthday and tho I may not have been thinking of her, the thought is ingrained in my subconscious that it may have come out in a dream. It is a possibility.

ya i even i had a dreamed of a senior who had passed away d night before his birthday.. these things don't exist according to me but sometimes it happens with me also.i guess its just the unconscious mind reminding us of them.
