I have been through hardships since I went to live with my husband. Sometimes I regret everything and wish it did not all happen to me. Sometimes I ask the Lord why me and why they happen to me. I've been good and just want to live a simple and happy life together with my family. But looking at the bright side, if I did not went through most downs, I wouldn't be this strong now. Experience had made me who I am now - a fighter. And with this new me, I know I can face any difficulties and trials that will come. Life's like that. It will either makes us stronger or weaker. How about you guys? Can you say you are strong or are you weak? Share your experience here..:

Hi there. Glad you are looking at the positive side of life. I know many wouldn't! Anyway I would say I am stronger now compared to last time. I was a typical kid who has a happy family once. Didn't even bother to learn about anything. Whenever I need money, I would go and ask my parents. Then my parents divorsed and I lost a place to hang on. I started to work and I slowly understand that earning money is tough. Everyday now is something new for me as I kept learning non stop. I am happy I made it through and that, made me stronger than ever!

Hi nicregi. So nice to see you among my discussions. Sorry to hear about your parent's divorce. You must have gone through a lot considering you are still so young to experience all that hardships. True indeed. All of us need experience to grow stronger and it's only through experience that we learn the ups and downs of life. Like for me, I've suffered quite a lot of setbacks and I've no choice but to learn from them and move on. Through all of these, I can say I'm not a weakling, unlike last time. In life, there are bound to be a lot of setbacks and obstacles which are there for us to cross. It's just a matter of how we're going to do it.

I agree. It's either we learn from our mistakes and deal with it or forget it and most likely for history to repeat itself.

Well, just keep in mind that, every cloud has silver lining.. everything has its return.. just keep positive thinking.. maybe it feels bad at first.. but, well, something's good will come for sure..
just think of some medicine.. feels bitter.. but that's what can cure us( means happiness).. cheer up.

Life either makes us or can break us and well although I have been a bit broken up this year most all of many hard years. I have to say I am much spiritually stronger then I imagined I could possibly be.
See the things I have gone through were major fears I thought about for years, but the fact that although I am not out of the woods quite yet, I am still very positive and optimistic sort of tells me that I am a strong women and getting through it has only proven that nothing certainly can defeat me.

Hi fourjems08! Yeah, i agree with you that experience toughens us up. Experiences come in success or failures. Sometimes when you fail, you learn from your mistakes and move on, making sure that the same things doesn't happens again. But when you've gain success, you also gain the formula to success. But you can't always use the same way to gain success.Because the world is changing and we have to get used to it and learn to improvise.

Yes I believe history will repeat itself if we are not careful to learn from our mistakes. With our experience, it is up to us to make a better person and be successful or be worst to be a failure in the end. Have a nice day!

We all have hardships that we have to face in our lives. Some of these trials tear us down while ohers make us stronger people. It all depends on how we deal with these hardships to determine how it affects our lives. @Blwilkin (19)

I lost a very dear friend's parents who my second family basically. It was hard for everyone at the moment and left me pondering what could I have done better when there were with me. But they would want me to have a happy life and thinking about the sad things in my past is no way to live in the future. Instead I choose to think of all the happy things we did together and this is what makes my day brighter.
