I do. I just love a green salad with all kinds of lettuce. I always like it to have a lot of iceberg lettuce but now that I´m growing that beautiful dark red lettuce in my raised beds I feel the colour ads zest to it. I also throw in some raw small zuchinni cut in thin rounds, some hearts of palm or fresh mushrooms and a bit of diced avocado (not too ripe).
What is your most loved salad? What kind of dressing do you use? I love mine with vinegar, a bit of mayo, olive oil salt pepper and parmesan cheese on top.

I work in a restaurant and we have these points depending on how many hours we work. I always look forward to working double shifts as I can be entitled more points. Using these points, I always exchange it for a chilli chicken salad (with lettuce, baby spinach, lollorosso (sp.?), rocket, chilli sauce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and cashew nuts plus grilled marinated chicken meat). This is my favourite salad! Hope to get one this weekend :)

I have several salads I love to eat but the main one I guess consists of capsicum, tomato, lettuce, avocado, onion and mushrooms. I add any sort of light dressing, usually French or Italian but Caesar is yummy too. Blue vein cheese dressing is the absolute best but it is terribly fattening and expensive. I also love a simple home made coleslaw and a Waldorf salad and my potato salad is vey nice too. LOL.

The salad at Old Spaghetti Factory comes with a creamy pesto dressing. Yum.

I love potato salad too, Jak. Now I am gathering and eating the first new potatoes from my organic garden. I feel very proud to be able to eat what I planted

It has to be a lovely Greek salad.
I just love it, if I close my eyes I can be back on the Greek islands enjoying a bowl of it in the sun with a bottle of cold retsina!!

Oh yes I'm with you on that one - can I be in Corfu eating mine please!!!
I adore Greek Salad - an it is so easy to make. I would say though that you should ONLY use Greek olives, and use the best, the same with the feta, these two items do really need to be good and authentic to get that great taste. Lashings of extra virgin olive oil too!!!!
Yummy, now I'm hungry!

this little fatty here (me) loves potatoe salad. everyone in my family and some friends make great potatoe salad. even me and im not a great cook. but potatoe salad i can make. we like it with lots and lots of eggs in it to. even my son makes it good and he likes dill relish in it which is fine with me but i prefer sweet. either way, i love it. your salad sounds pretty yummy to. but lately we've been going for soups since even here its getting pretty chillie at night. funny thing is, i love potatoe soup also guess why im so fat is i love potatoes.

I also love potato salad and I agree with your son that dill relish is wonderful there. When I have a bid party in summer, with the grandchildren, I have to make three kinds of potato salad to suit every taste. Some like it with mayo )and dill ot gree peas and diced carrots) some don´t like mayo but I have to mince a lot of parsley and dress it with olive oil.

When going to a salad bar, I generally just get lettuce, carrots, a little cheddar cheese, a touch of Italian dressing, and grilled chicken. I'm a picky eater, so I have to slowly get used to something new.
I'll also eat chicken ceasar salad, but I have to have the dressing on the side. The last one I had was drenched in it, and I don't like the texture of too much dressing.

I like to make my own dressings so even when I do out, I ask for olive oil, salt, pepper and vinegar if I have a salad.

Oh that's very nutritious. For me, it would be cabbage salad, topped with eggs and some special type of Italian vinegar and some mayonnaise sauce. These kinds of salad are best eaten with fried foods, especially fried chicken.

Cabbage salad is a good pick. I make it often as cabbage is very cheap in my country. I usually dice a tart apple and some raisins and make a mayo dressing for it.

I so love eating salads, too! And my favorite is Green Bean Salad. I can definitely eat a bowl everyday. But since I'm now staying here in the Philippines for good, I don't know where to buy those green beans... :(

Green beans are wonderful. I eat them in salads, make omelettes with them and put them in stews at the last minute. YUMMY!
