Does Death HAVE a plan?

I watched this movie over and over again throughout the...years,now. The idea of it was pretty interesting. I think a lot of you at least heard people talking about "Final Destination", so you pretty much have an idea what it´s about. The fact that in this movie, Death was "humanized" was for me the sci-fi part. Death there has a will of its own, patience, and a strategy that it uses to carry out its unchangeable plan. That´s pretty much how WE, humans, do things throughout our lives, isn´t it? What IS Death? Of course, there are many points of view to explain that from, but I´d love to hear your idea!
