It takes Mylot a lot of time to Impress You!!!

i think mylot is more fun for people who have a lot to say, and not just 'do you prefer tea or coffee?', which was the only type of discussions i used to see when i first joined mylot so many years ago. if you enjoy writing and have a lot of 'stuff' in your brain, this can be a very fun place to make a bit of money on teh side. of course, the amount is not huge, but it's a good way to meet new people, find out new things at the same time as practicing your writing skills! :) i love mylot, even though i disappear for long periods of time. but then i come back and write like mad. so i get a kick out of the site in short bursts :)

I like mylot because you can learn from different cultures, religions, etc. Mylot has taught me patience and a sense of balance from reading other peoples opinions and realizing I can learn from others thoughts and input into a lot of different discussions. I have never found mylot boring. I also find I can improve my writing skills and make sure my spelling is better. You have to think about what you are responding to and realize your thoughts might not be the same as the person that started the discussion, but to respect that someone took the time to start a discussion and try with all honesty to answer it thoroughly. We might make just a few pennies a day through this wonderful organization. But where else has the internet allowed us to speak our minds and actually say we are giving our 2 cents worth? yes I too am greatful that mylot was started and greatful to the people that have been here longer than me and started discussions that I can respond to.

I feel the same way too at first i feel it so boring but the day comes it sound interesting to me. It is very helpful to us and really give us much information and ideas everytime they post a topic. This is a great site to earn.

I am not impressed with this site but i am hoping that eventually i will like it more and more like you guys.I do think it is a lot of typing for little money.Not a person to type that much anyway but i think everything takes time to get used to it.Happy typing!!!!!

Hey pal, I really liked your story haha. Can you tell me the best way to get referrals? I don't have any at the moment and I think some will boost the spirits. I've been writing a lot lately and I only got like 30 cents. At this rate, it'll take me 2 months to cash out my first 10 bucks =[

I just joined mylot yesterday. I thought this is not a way to earn a lot of money. What I am just doing right now is to contribute to discussions as much as I can. I think the people here are friendly so I think I might stay here for a long time, really really long time :) I still don't know right now if I should start sending our referrals and putting the mylot banner on my site O.O

I have had the same up and down ride with mylot myself. I started out using it as a way to get referrals but then I found myself coming back just to participate in discussions. I take a lot of online surveys and when I get burned out or caught up I have found it relaxing to just respond to some of the discussions here. I am glad you have found the same thing.

Definitely. Love the way you're thinking right now. Yea, last time when I was still a newbie here, I was also bored out by the endless discussions and I was quite lost. Same as you, I had no motivation to participate. It was only this year that I started to realize that my hobby is in this and I started to work harder. Now I'm doing quite well here Good luck!

I didn't have quite the slow start you just described. I was socially starving though and found it quite enjoyable to interact with people from all over the world. I actually found it addicting rather quickly. I also liked the part where we got paid for discussions!

It does take a lot of time to get into a certain comfort zone with a website on the Internet. My Lot is far from the exception to this rule for sure. There are going to be a lot of time where I go on there and it is just amazing how long I have been here. I barely posted the first month I am here, but once I got rolling and got used to this website, I began to roll.

You are right there. I myself was not really impressed with myLot when I first join. Iw as then just going around like 5-10 posts a day just for fun of it. Now, I am really having the hang of it and i try to participate in anyway possible!

I loved mylot from the first day. I had no exposure to this site earlier but I got the link from an e-book which recommended it as an earning site. I joined it and I was impressed with the active people here. I got the exposure to the other earning sites from here but that doesn't make me less attracted to the site. I saw that the admin people are active and that makes a site interesting. I liked it that people really keep their eye on what I post here. I think it is the best site I have found.

I just joined mylot days ago. Got the link veroniz, a co-blogger. I liked the discussions and the people are friendly. I've been with lots of forums but this one pays you for your post, nice.
