I have gone several times and it is one of my favorite vacation places. The first time I was there, I went with my late husband and some friends. He was already very ill but the week we were there he bloomed so much that I had to buy a timeshare there. We went several times and now I have gone with other people or alone. The last time was on September 2008 and now I´m going in March with some young friends. The people are friendly, the climate is perfect and the beaches are beautiful and clean. If you go there, you probably do the same thing I did once. I took my camera to the beach and took so many pictures of the sunset that I filled up the camera´s memory and I had to select later on. If you have gone, what was your experience there? Share!

Aruba is the easiest place to sell in the world. I can´t think of any bad thing about it. Right now, I´m remembering a piña colada I had at a jacuzzi by the pool at the resort. It was awesome and unexpensive as it was a happy hour

I haven't yet been to Aruba but I have heard a lot of wonderful things about it. I know that it is one of the Dutch Antilles Islands. There are also Bonarie and Curacao. One day I hope I will go to beautiful Aruba and spend time on the sandy beaches. I love to see orange sunsets over the ocean. The climate sounds perfect: hot and dry suits me. I hope that you will have a wonderful time there with your friends in March. It is lovely that you have so many happy memories of Aruba my dear friend.

Sunset in Aruba - This is one of the many pictures I took of a sunset in Aruba.
Hi Maxine, Aruba is not as hot as other places in the same latitude. The climate is how I imagine Eden.

Aruba is nice I heard lots of good things about this country and since it is a tropical country, beaches are wonderful. I'd never been into Aruba but hopefully someday I can travel there :-D

Aruba is a very small island in the caribbean near Venezuela. The wonderful thing aobut it is that it´s not as warm or humid as some other places nearby due to soothing winds that other islands don´t have. And the beaches are awesome and clean. I just went to St. Maarten to make a change, but I prefer Aruba.

Hiya margi, No have never been there but would like to go sometime. Whenever that will be I don´t know at the moment I have just enough to buy me a pair of Gloves or Mittens for the extreme cold we are having here. Don´t mean to sound like a Bucket of Cold Water I have never been there yet so when I do get to go if ever I can write up about it then. You have been there several times I see are you going back again then? Good for you you go back and this time load up your Camera with an extra Card so you can take more Photos that way you won´t have to choose which you keep and which you don´t. Take care now margi, xxx

I discovered that it was less expensive for me to go for vacations in Winter than to stay at home and spend that same money in heating. We don´t have extreme cold where I live so I can go in Winter and leave the house with no heating at all. That´s a huge saving.

Hiya margi, Well we have the same idea in a way that it is much better to be out in the Sunshine although it´s cold than to be inside and having to use some kind of heat to keep us warm. If this were my House the Kitchen front glass would be replaced as it´s not a good heat keeper in fact the opposite. I use the Gas rings not only to cook but to retain heat in the Kitchen this however does not always work as they are forever flinging the kitchen Door open. I shut the Door and it is open again. I don´t like artificial Heat but sometimes it´s better than none at all. We go from 15 or 18 degrees in the Day to below minus 12 degrees sometimes here that´s in the Winter of course. Huge savings for you yes and traveling in Winter is a really great idea if you can.

In what part of Spain do you live? We have a great difference in temperature from day to night where I live too, but it doesn´t often get below 0ºC in Winter.

Hi Bhuwar, my friend, Aruba is a very small island in the caribbean near Venezuela. The wonderful thing aobut it is that it´s not as warm or humid as some other places nearby due to soothing winds that other islands don´t have. Aruba is very far away from India but after I have known you I have checked on India at the web many times and you have many beautiful places to go nearby.

Aruba is an island that , along with Bonaire and Curacao, used to be the Dutch Antilles, in the Caribbean sea. Aruba is very near Venezuela. THe islands are independent now but still have a lot of economic and cultural ties with Nwetherlands.

Aruba is surrounded by the Caribbean. It´s waters are warmer than the Mediterranean and a lot cleaner. It is a perfect place to go on a vacation.

I have never been anywhere as exotic as Aruba. I have seen pictures and it looks like a great place to travel to. I think if i had the opportunity to go there, it would be worth it.
