Younger generations nowadays

I went to shopping mall today and I seen many youngsters (roughly less than 18 years old) holding hands and being in love. However, it just struck me to think how many of them actually understand the real meaning of love. In my country, teenagers tend to feel that having couple is more 'show-off' than real love itself.
What's your take on this my fellow mylotters?

hello nicregi. its generation change. its not like as in my young days where we even not get very close when we talk together. always keep some distance between us when we happens to walk, as at that time people will mistake if we do like this generation. but now just opposite. if u maintain gap they thought as shy.

Hey sankaviaks.
You have a point too. I tend to see teenagers now rather speak to their best friends instead of parents. I don;t know but when I was younger, my mom is always my listener. Anyway, I do hope they can speak out and follow the right path. It is no harm being together early but they have to know to focus on education too!

yeah you are right. if every thing goes in right direction then no problem but if even small mistake happen then all shout at them, but anyhow they wont care much as generation changed. they need what they want and they do whether other like or not.

I think it is teenagers just being teenagers. They think they know alot and think they understand what love is, but until they are old enough realize that there are other things that come along with being in a real relationship, they don't understand. Plus, they think it is cool and fun to have a boyfriend/girlfriend. I think they also have so many hormones running wild that this is part of it.

Hey there! Thanks for replying. In fact, when I recall back during my teen life, it felt so...popular to be having a couple. However, I just worry they take it too far and things will tend to be a little 'messy' in the end. Anyway really love the part about hormones :p

Today there are problems with our youth. They are spoiled contrast to what it was like even when I was young. Growing up we didn't have cell phones or Internet access or even a computer in our house. The game classification were Atari and Cole co. Kids now don't actually know what it is like not to have the ease of cell phones, computers, even Internet . In nearly all homes compared to how it was when I was younger. I feel that due to all of this technology kids be likely to be sluggish.

Well, I am from India. And I see this type of boys and girls roam around here too. But most of them are very clear in their position and at the time of examinations they are serious and some how go towards the career. Very few, unfortunately, spoil themselves as well as the other partner.
