What will happen if any species of life, obviously more developed both in science and technology than man comes from the space to our earth ? Will it be beneficial or harmful to this planet?

I don't believe they are her now...
I i am thinking in Euphoric way:
1) if they will be bad, so all of the countries will have to be in peace and will work together to fight them.
2) If they will be good and friendly they will try to help our planet with their new cool techno-logic

You want to mean if they are bad, there will be a chance of unity among mankind which was never seen before.

Hi DoctorDidi, I think that it would be beneficial, because such people would be much more advanced than us, otherwise they could never have made it here. Being more advanced they would understand the importance of everyone living together in peace. It would be a great blessing for all who live here. Blessings.

If it is beneficial, it is Ok as it would help to save both the mankind and the planet from destruction.

hi interesting idea and it might be to our advantage if they'were more advanced and were friendly, they could help us to stop global warming and perhaps e ven advance our medical reseach so we cou ld cure cancer or even prevent it. they might also cure us diabetics and
prevent us from having new cases of diabetes.so we might benefit from
them being here, but if they came to capture us it would bv a different story indeed. Its always find to what if though and maybe thats how some of our best science fiction writers started writing their stories,

As they must be much more developed than man, they may take pity on us and may treat us as slaves as the developed people on this planet treated with the so called uncivilized people.

This will inevitably happen in the future.Even now aliens regularly visit our planet and there is enough evidence for this. I believe that after some years humans and other species of different planets will collaborate for developing more and more advanced technologies. The universe is vast and there is no doubt other forms of life exist.

This is quite a new information to me that aliens regularly visit our planet.

In my opinion definitely it will be bad, introducing something alien to an environment which is a stronger specie will definitely take over the host. You do not have to go to outer space to see this phenomenome, just look at the case of the Asian carp and the killer bees that had invaded the U.S., in my country it's the janitor fish that escaped from aquariums and fish tanks that's wrecking havoc on our fresh water marine life. Even in the history of man, stronger nations will always invade or take advantage of a weaker nation and not to mention the diseases they brought that wiped out whole cultures and empires, so it's definitely a no no, perceived benefits does not equal the risks.

This is the opinion of a section of scientists that it will be bad.

It can be positive as well as negative to the planet. As every thing has got positive and negative side of it, let us take it as neutral. It can be beneficial as well as harmful to the planet, if we have more developed in science and technology.

we'll have to wait and see doctor! we've seen both in movies - they come to destroy or conquer us sometimes, and they come to befriend or help us sometimes. well, they come to destroy us mostly in movies. but if they do come to do either i'll be glad to see it because we are destroying ourselves here so doesn't matter anyway. i'll be happier to see them come to save us from ourselves of course!

DoctorDidi from our experience we know whenever men landed on a country of another continent they made the inhabitants slaves. They looted their property, raped their women and took away everything precious they could lay their hands on. If species from another planet lands on this earth they would do the same. If they land here before we land on their planet they would definitely be more advanced than us. Coming of another species on this plant would spell disaster for earthlings. We must not look forward to it but rather prepare ourselves for such an eventuality. We must always remain on guard against any such invasion. If they are friendly we would welcome them, if they are aggressive we should be able to ward off their invasion.

I'll be happy if this occur :) I think that we'll have many benefits on it. Do you sometimes feel alone when you think that earth is only person in space?

Well,it's not easy to give an answer. But we can imagine thus situations. If some other alien species visit our planet, I will be glad the meet them and wish to be friends with them. Then we know that we are not alone in the universe. About what they will bring to us, hard to say! Just wish more benefits than harms.
Sadly speaking that we human beings are on the way to destroy our planet day by day in many ways. What a horrible fact it is. I wish we might learn something from the alien intelligence species, because they may have come through such an embarrassing age.

perhaps it will be benificial for us human beings as we would come to know of future technology and make ourselves more modern interacting with them. And if they are attacking us ,i dont know what we would do. Depends on the situation.
