windows vista slowdown

hi everyone, I bought a laptop with windows 7 preinstalled.But i was having problems with playing games so i installed vista.but i am having problems when copying files.i installed teracopy but even it is slow when copying files.Any solutions?

yes you are right windows 7 have good speed but it show problems with many software and vista make your system slow. use windows xp sp3 it will give you better performance and it support all type of games and software. have nice day dude

Well. It may be be issue in installation of Vista. or may be some registry issue. cleanup your system using ccleaner and Advance System Care.. and then try it out.. Also you haven't mentioned that are you using genuine version of Vista? because vista update might be issue..
