I am sure Mc Donalds is a billion dollar corporation, I go in there every morning to get the large coke for a dollar and sometimes once in a while I will get breakfast or lunch there since it is so close to my job, but now they have gone really too far with me, I am done!!!! I got tired of when I go through the drive thru and order the large coke with ice there is hardly any ice in it!!! So if the weather is okay outside I go in and get it myself but the iced tea you have to let them do it from behind the counter once again melting ice!! And the other day I had asked for just one small package of pancake sryup, and they told Well I can give it t you this time but next time I will have to charge you! For what? Don't they make enough money? It is only a very small package and only one!! How would you feel? What would you do?

Hi there! I read this and smiled :) Well it happened to me the same thing last week. Well, almost. I always drive through for my supper for your info. So as usual I place my order of burger and stuff and when I went to the delivery window, my food was there as usual. Then I asked for extra chili sauce and the fella told me the same thing that happened to you. I was like what? @_@ Anyway, it totally sux. However, I guess it could be the staff attitude and lack of service as everytime I am inside, anything extra is fine :) Maybe just our bad day huh!

Personally speaking,I'm not so keen on "Brain Freeze" when drinking a cold soda that's been loaded with ice..But Isn't the soda already chilled when it's coming from the dispenser before they put the ice in? (or do they put the ice in first?-I dunno..)It Seems to me that You're getting more soda for your Dollar, the less ice you get, assuming they fill the cup up..but if you prefer the cup loaded with ice and less soda inside, that's your preference,You're the one paying..that's what you should get..but If you're a regular customer, they should maybe be getting to know you and how you like things by now..I'm with you on the syrup meanness,though..if you need the syrup with your order, they shouldn't be quibbling over giving you some! Do they charge for ketchup too?!

Hi Jahernandezrivas, I am not a big fan of McDonalds anyway. I actually feel sick if I eat their food. I was going in there pretty regularly for iced coffee but so many times they could not even get that right. And I do know what you mean by the ice. I would get iced coffee and so many times it had just a little bit of ice. I got my daughter a chicken wrap and asked for extra ranch dressing for it and they charged me 25 cents for each extra pkg. Im not sure why they do that. I feel it should come with the food.

I had a friend who got coffee from there too and it was terrible!! We took it back and they still could not get it right!! Anyway Have a Good Day!

I go to McDonalds regularly and I can relate to your frustrations! I find that it depends in who is working at the time. There are many young kids employed at McDonalds and, sadly, many, although not all don’t have much of an idea when it comes to customer service! In regards to the pancake syrup you would think that it would be included with the pancake and an extra one should not break their bank.

I agree and I am sure Mc Donalds bank is large enough not to charge for things like syrup! And things that are included in the meal! Have a Good Day!

I do not frequent McDonalds at all as I try to eat healthy and well their menu is not so great for a person like me who is always watching what I eat. But the other day here in TN, my boyfriend wanted a large coke, so I said okay I will have a coffee. So I ordered it with 2 creams and 2 sugars. So when we pulled up at the pick up window, my boyfriend asked does the coffee have cream and sugar as there weren't any in the bag. The girl rudely said let me have it back and came back in under one minute and said this one does. So as we slowly pulled away I opened the container to find that the coffee cup only had black coffee. Ugh... So I had to go inside and simply asked what does a girl have to do to get a coffee with creme and sugar. The manager happen to be standing there, he said if I wanted cream and sugar I should have asked for it. I said you see this is why I do not visit McDonalds as not only are you the Manager but a rude one at that so now I do not want any coffee but my money back. So he immediately apologized and I said no that is okay save it for the next customer as I am sure you will be just as rude as I asked twice and you never gave me a chance to ask a third time. Ugh.. So I do know what you mean. LOL...

That really sux!!!! I just don't get how a billion dollar corporation wants to charge us for stupid little things that are supposed to come with the meal, and how they can keep very rude employees like that around including the managers, like you mentioned!!! Well hope it doesn't happen again to you but for me I will never go there again! Have a good day.

Yes,you have made the right decision to stop eating from mcdonalds, but now is the hared part to prevent yourself form going there again. If you stop eating junk food make sure you don't change your mind and if you ink about it all the things that the junk food contains you might be able to quit it faster. And besides let the multi billionaire company sell their food to people who don't care about their health,if you aren't one of them though.

Well, for starters McDonald's is just horrible for your diet. If you were to eat a Bigmac, Large Fries, and a Large coke you are consuming 1580 calories in one meal, which is about your entire diet if you are a woman (save a few hundred calories) and a little over half if you are an active male who is athletically motivated (lifting weights, playing a sport, etc on a daily basis). In terms of the soda I like lots of ice but my husband does not. He feels you get less soda for your monies if you put ice in it. However, we're both trying to also cut back and eliminate soda all together from our diet because it is not healthy for you. I am not sure about you in terms of syrup but from a portion point of view one package is all you need for three small pancakes. It's actually more than enough. I think part of the problem is that our eyes have grown larger than our needs because of well "super size" value meals. Even meals in sit down restaurants are typically twice the size of what you actually need to consume at one meal. When we go out to dinner I always get a to-go box and put half my meal away at the start of the meal. That way I don't over-eat. Namaste-Anora

Well, I think you're lucky. I always complain that they put too much ice on my Coke, probably to serve me less Coke, and I often order my drink without ice so I can drink something. McDonalds is a big "restaurant" chain, so the employees are only following orders and you can't really blame on them selling syrup bags. Even if you complain in the shop, there's nothing they can do. If you really want to complain, you can try to find some customer attention phone number or mail address and tell them why are you unhappy with their service. I don't know if it might help or not, but you never know if you don't do anything.

That's what make them a billion dollar corporation, by being calculative and saving on whatever they can yet charging extra expenses to customers. That's what most big companies are doing. To think most restaurants are charging for plain water from the tap as well? I mean they are already making money and so why make a fuss out of tap water. It's really not fair to consumers like us.

I never eat at McDonalds because all the food is so unhealthy. There is stuff in their food that you can't even pronounce. It really is fake food if you think of what you might make in your home compared to that. They use beef from Central America which is terrible because for one, they don't have the same food safety standards we do in the US and two, buying tropical raised beef just causes destruction of the rainforest as they chop down the jungle to make land for cattle ranching. Cattle were never designed to live in Central America! Most times when I've eaten at McDonalds just because there was nothing else available or I was with friends, I've felt sort of sick afterwards. The food is just not good for you and your body knows this. Try to think more about your food choices and change your relationship to food. Be aware of what you put in your body.

I used to go to McDonalds twice in a month, and ask it for delivery once per week. The soda is always delivered warm and without gas, and in the restaurant, almost always when there are lines, the sodas are also gas-less. I got tired of swapping, there are always lines, sometimes enormous, and I have to wait until someone pays attention to me. That made me decide for Burger King. As it's still unpopular here, there are almost no lines at all, and the sandwiches are really tastier than McDonald's ones.
