Winning prizes on your favorite "paid to" sites......

Are you one of those "lucky ones"? One of those who always seems to win the contest or drawing? Man, I'm not! lol. A lot of my favorite sites are having holiday events.....like at Clicksia and Incentria (owned by the same person) all you have to do is surf 100 sites in the traffic exchange section and you can win $5. The admin is paying $5 to three people every day until Christmas. Easy enough! I do it.....every day but I'm not one of those "lucky ones". Of course, there are over 100,000 members! Same for a site like Onbux. When the snowman icon changes into a Santa icon, you can play some sort of game and win a prize. I've never even seen the Santa! lol. Another one of my favorite sites, Godfather Traffic, is having a "12 days of Christmas" giveaway. You have to surf 300 sites a day and there are daily prizes given. I haven't won one yet! lol. I'm holding out for the big one though. If you surf 300 sites every day for the entire 12 days, you get to be in a drawing for $20 paid directly to your PP or AP account! Whoot! I'm in it for that. There are only 11 of us that even qualify for that drawing! Of course.........I'm not one of the "lucky ones"......Lol. How about you? Any luck with these kinds of things? Ever win anything BIG?

I've won a $100 survey sweepstakes. Was a long shot type of sweepstakes for sure, so was very surprised I won that.
Won a WoW game card for Beta testing a browser based game. I had a good chance of winning card based on number of entrants and cards given away, but it did take some luck for sure to win.
So I've won a couple things, but that's over the course of many years, and out of probably 300+ sweepstakes I've entered in that time.

Those are pretty cool prizes! Much better than the .05 or .10cent bonuses I've been able to win! Lol. How'd that game card work out? That sounds pretty interesting. When you say "sweepstakes", do you mean that in the traditional sense? Send your info and it gets put into a pot and they randomly select somebody? I always wonder about the legitimacy of those types of things. The winner has to be a "family member" or friend of a friend kind of thing. That's what I think anyway. I've never know anybody that has actually one one of those things! lol. You've definitely had more luck than I in this regard and hopefully it'll "rub off" by association! lol. Thanks for the reply.

The hundred from the survey, was a short survey I did that was available on a normal survey site. This was just a complete survey and get entered into drawing. No clue number of entrants but there was a small number of cash prizes, believe mine was 3rd place. Was about 4-5yrs ago that happened when I still did surveys through a large number of sites.
The game card, was special offer given to people Beta testing the game and reached a certain level. Then they were entered into the drawing for the 1mth WoW game cards. Game was actually kind of fun and I ended up playing it for couple months and gave the card to a family member.
Can find these kind of give away for some gaming at the larger game forums. They usually have a contest,giveaway and Beta key section. Lot of free to play games that make money with item malls or membership upgrade options will give away some things or have sweepstakes to help the player base grow. Usually it's in game items or a long shot giveaway on a console game or gift card. But not a bad way to add a little extra excitement to gaming online while trying out new games.

The only time I won something in such as site was 1 dollar in EasyHits4U, from one of their surf drawing tickets. I was so used to never winning anything, that I started writing an e-mail to the admins to tell them that my balance got credited extra, I thought it was a bug 
I remember pretty well because it made my day... it was one of those days when everything went wrong, and, of course, a dollar isn't much, but it's enough to make you feel lucky again.

Lol! A buck is a pretty good prize for EasyHits, considering you have to surf 1000 pages to make 30cents! I'd be thrilled if I won that! I almost forgot about the surf ticket drawings there. I've only one cash once and, if memory serves it was 10cents! lol. Although I did win a thousand credits in the surf draw once. Now, THAT was an amazing boon for me! lol.
