Last weekend my family all got together. We usually only do for funerals and were all determined to have a family get together for a happy occassion.
There were 4 generations there which was great. The oldest being my 98 year old mother in law and the youngest at 6 months was my Grandson.
Whats the most generations you have got together in one room? We took lots of photos and it was a great day. I definately recommend it.

Four generations in one room is always a bad idea in my family. It leads to fighting because that means it's a family event and family events are always...chaotic, to say the least. I would say, though, that I think 5 generations is the most we've ever had together at a time. My great-grandmother, my grandparents, my uncle, my uncle's children, and then their children. So yeah, five.
Unfortunately, that was many years ago. My great-grandmother passed away probably back in I think 2001 maybe, so now the most we can manage is 4 generations, which will be a fairly regular occurrence for us pretty soon. See, my grandparents moved out of state to a state with a lower cost of living, so my husband (then boyfriend) and I moved a couple years after them to be with them. Now, next year my mother is planning on moving down here, too, so that she can be here for her first grandchild (which I will hopefully be having around March 1, if she's not so stubborn that she's extremely late). So that will be four generations on a regular basis since we'd all be living in the same area. My grandparents, my mother, stepfather, and sister, and then my husband and I and our little girl. ^_^ Not quite as chaotic as having the whole family together, but you'd be surprised how much drama there is even between us! LOL.

It is really cool to have the entire family together during happy occasions, especially when you are able to see so many generations gathered at the same place. A couple of months ago, my stepdad's family came together for a wedding and there were 5 generations there: My stepdad's mom (who is in her mid 80s), him, his daughter, his granddaughter (who was getting married) and his great granddaughter (who is 5 years old).
