I hate to say it...believe me I do,and with all the screaming little tween fans and hilarious parody's that have been made in fun of the latest craze I truly believe that my relationship with my boyfriend is exactly like the Twilight series. Don't roll your eyes, believe me... I know.
His skin doesn't glitter, and he's not unusually ashy...but this hidden magnet we had between us can only be discribed in the words of Stephany Meyer. When we first met he wouldn't even talk to me- he talked around me. We eventually became friends, and then he spontaneously asked me out right after i was about to transfer schools.
And then i guess it kinda goes onto the next book, because when we couldn't see each other anymore the months literally blurred together. Of all the years in my life i still cant piece together what happened from january to may... I mean these books literally carried me through a time when i felt like loving this man was all i had going for me. all we had going for each other.
But, I just had to see if I was the only one that felt this way. I picked up my first Twilight book (at the time it was the only book published) when i was in highschool. That was the year 2006, people. And, with the way it was laying around the school library all old-looking and seemingly regular, i didn't realize that the author was relatively new.
anyway... who copied your secret love life? The Notebook? Titanic (how sad that would be!)? But who?

I can't really think of one that is like my relationship with my husband - we are pretty average!

Various elements from each of the books in the Wallflower quartet by Lisa Kleypas have reminded me of my relationship. Most especially Scandal In Spring.

Though I don't think that there is a movie or book that is EXACTLY like my relationship with my husband, I do see a lot of similarities to my relationship in the relationship with Edward and Bella in the Twilight Series. The reason I think that is the closest to my relationship with my husband is because of the fact that I had to convince him at first that we were meant to be together and since then every part of our lives have been intertwined.
