Classic coke

Give us a break here. Classic Coke is not the old Coke. For those of us old enough to remember the original Coke (not the one with the cocaine in it), the change to new Coke was traumatic, so much so that the Coca Cola people had to develop Classic Coke which they inferred but never said, was the old Coke. Making the initial change was strictly a financial decision, changing the use of cane sugar to high fructose corn syrup. There has been no attempt by the company to rectify this situation. Can anyone believe that I'm writing this seriously? I've probably forgotten about the wars, economy, and GOP. Forgive me.

I am old enough to remember the change, and it was quite traumatic to me as I considered myself a cokeologist.. Remember Max Headroom... ah the good ole days... Anyway... I barely drink soda anymore. I do however STILL prefer Coke over Pepsi. And I still think Max Headroom was cool.

LOL I like that you added that last bit at the end. I was going to say..You must have had at one point a pretty hefty addiction to that Coke ! I wouldn't even have noticed if they made the change, because I've never been big on Coke (only Diet Coke). Now my soda obsession is Diet Mountain Dew. I guess I would be pretty pissed if they suddenly started drastically changing how it tastes, just because I'm so used to it.. When did they stat making the 'new Coke'? I was born in '90, so it might have occurred before I was around (and that's why I didn't notice it) LOL. Welcome to MyLot by the way!
