Hello everyone!lately I came across with online writing opportunities, the job offers fantastic salary and bonuses (in Philippine peso) very far from the full time job I am having right now. But some of these companies wanted someone to work full time with them. My greatest dream in life is to work in a writing field full time and I am just looking for a good opportunity to do this, now the opportunity comes but the problem is I will be working in a home-based company. I am afraid to decide because I will be losing a day job with a good university, though the salary is small, this is a fixed income and I will be assured I have something to eat and spend at the end of the day. I'll ask some of the members opinion regarding a full time home-based writing work if this is good and if this is a wise decision than having a stable job with small but permanent salary in a company? Did you ever try working in a home-based job and how does it work? Thank you for your advises. Merry Christmas to all!

If I may ask, what is the nature of this home-based writing job? Will it be possible to take the job without you quitting your daytime work? You can perhaps outsource some of the task while you are at your regular job. I will not let go my daytime job because there are so many non-monetary benefits that I cannot let go, health benefits for instance. I hope your regular job also offers health benefits.

I would stick with the regular job that grants guaranteed money. If you can get a part-time on-line job as well as making money doing a hobby on the side then go for it. ConsumerSearch.com/Jobs can grant up to $350 minimum on articles. You can keep your job and do what you love.

Thank you for your nice advises and comments. I also agree with you that a stable job is a good assurance for a fixed and permanent financial security rather than the home-based job. There are part time basis in the online freelance writing and there are also full time but I am afraid to go full time since the bulk they demand in writing articles are at least 30 per week which is quite taxing on my part as I still have a day job that's why I plan to quit my day time job, but now I have a second thought after reading your comments. Thanks so much!

No, they don't ask for any initial investment you just register first with www.onlinejobs.ph in order to access the data base of different home-based jobs.

It's better to stick with the stable job. At least, you are assured of a salary. If you really want to work at home, look for a part time online job but do not quit your "real" world job. Its hard to find something in the net where you could really earn.

Hello Mabeldaclan, Thank you for your great sharing. Yes, that's what my friends had told me too to stick with the stable job because home-based job is not really for a lifetime, it is only good at the moment. Thank you!
