I guess if it's happening to you, then it's not true at all. I had a guy best friend and we did fall in love at some point, but we're okay now, just best friends still, and we're okay :)
It's possible not to fall in love with your best friend, as long as you both know your limits

hi glamgirldoll depends on the p eople, nothing like that is cut and dried. My husband a nd I loved each other but we were also best frinds too which really is a wonderful thing as really would you want to make love the most intimate thing in the world with someone who was not your real friend? no not at all.a lot of people also call any friend a best friend but there ia a hell of a difference. you c an go on for years being a fairly casual friend with a man and not fall in love. but a best friend is a lot closer and yes most times they end up fallin in love as liking usually does come first.

Your best friend can be one of the closest people to you in your life. It is easy to see how such a relationship could turn into something stronger and more intimate. Crossing the lines of friendship into something more physical ill bring changes. They are changes we have to be ready to accept and acknoledge to maintain a healthy relationship.
