Hi mylotter, i am very frust with this situation:
I found a topic which attract me. I want to respond to the discussion and i type a lot of opinion relate the discussion. Check is there any mistake. Finally i click on the post respond button. But the connection down, and when i press 'back', everything i type there is gone and i have to type again everything.
Do you encounter this kind of problem before? How do you feel?

Oh my,I thought I'm the only encountering this,I thought at first it's because of my internet connection but I guess since some are also encountering this in mylot, maybe mylot's site is busy.
I shouted one time when I wrote my reply quite long and didn't accept,I said,Oh my!
I was trying to copy paste it but I am not entitled to do so,I have to reach the rank of 500 for me to be able to do it. Hope this could be resolved soon.

Hi cmang83, such awful situation happened to me countless times before. Firstly the service of the solely isp here is extremely poor. It will disconnect at any time. Secondly the current supply is poor as well and interruption may happen often. This disgusting blackout happened twice in a single day by the end of last month.
I felt really depressed when my shall be completed post or going to post response gone at once for the above reasons. I'm glad that this won't happen to me anymore after I have shifted my browser to the current one which will save all the tabs in in use, including the unsent post
The tab with the discussion picked which I'm going to response is still available when internet connection and electricity is restored as usual again
I don't have to take the trouble to copy whatever before working.
Happy posting

Yes I've experienced that as well...its annoying, specially if you've written something really long just to end up not being able to post it.
So what I do is, I copy my response to a notepad, just to make sure that I have another copy of it. So if the connection goes down, then I'll just copy and paste my response! ![](/Content/images/emotes/lol.gif)

I have faced this situation many times... My internet connection is that reliable.. it keeps getting drop every now and then.. after a few such instances .. I have learned that if the content is not posted.. then I just copy it to a note pad and write it back when internet is up..

Oh, it's really frustrating when something like this happens.
When I had a rating under 100 it was even harder, because I couldn't use the copy/paste facility and I had to re-type the entire post.
Sometimes I gave up and I didn't have the patience to re-write all my ideas.
Now it's a little easier, as I can copy-paste my posts to a text file and, if the connection goes down while I try to submit my message, all I have to do is paste the written message in the response box.

Hi there!
Oh man I will be so pissed! What I actually do is that if the screen opening slow, immediately select all and copy the respond. Just to be safe. However, if I use it on my phone, then it will be easier as my phone has unlimited data plan. Sometime I am just so happy to use my phone to reply but it would take a little time to respond compared to computer.
Just my two cents!

I feel frustrated if i don't have internet at home. You have to open your
open my myLOT account to respond the discussion.A few minutes here, myLOT tends to log out your account automotically.
