How many days you can stand without taking a shower?

I cannot stand not having a shower. I need to take shower at least twice a day. The only time I will take shower once is when I go to the jungle early in the morning and come back home late in the evening. Even if I'm sick and lying on the bed, I still will take shower twice. I use warm water though. I take shower so I will feel fresh and more alert.

I take my shower everyday on my body. I usually would shower from head to foot every other day, because i only shampoo and condition my hair on that frequency. But when worse comes to worse that i cannot shower, i would certainly be contented with a wash cloth dipped in water and rub it into my body and face as well as my hair. Then, put lotion and voila , i'm ready to go. If i have a fever, i would like to washed in that manner too, but the water must be tepid. But it has to include my hair too.

I think it's mostly habit. When we were growing up (long ago!), most people only bathed once a week. No on thought anything about it and people didn't smell bad - or at least I don't remember them smelling bad. I think it had to do with the food we ate back then. Anyway, I usually shower every other day and sometimes, when it's especially cold or I don't feel well,it can be three days. I don't use perfume or other smells to cover up. They're not healthy and some of them give me headaches.

Hi, It is just not my way of skipping shower or bath. In any case If I had to skip the shower because of my busy schedule and held up in a place where I cant find a bathroom to take a shower that would be a real troublesome situation for me. Then obviously i had to depend on mor and more deodorants as you do. I am from tropical country (India) and I take shower twice a day except in winter. early in the morning and after coming back from work. It keeps my body and mind fresh and facilitates me in having sound sleep. Happy Living Calpro

Do not bathe too frequently in winter,can wash a week, hate body odor if you can spray some perfume.

3 days at the most...but that is only when I am at home. I can't go out without taking a shower...

I usually take a shower every other day when I'm just at home. But when I go to work, I shower everyday. There was one time I was able to tolerate 2 or 3 days without shower but that was veeeeeeeeery uncomfortable To get rid of smells, I use powder and perfume too. Also, on the days when I don't shower, I wash myself a bit too, much like a quick sponge bath.

I cant not take a shower, or bath. I hate it! I have 2 a day and more in the summer! Im the same wiht cleaning my teeth, I clean my teeth 5 times a day. Im borederline OCD. I contantly clean my home and myself, I hate anything thats not clean, Im scared of getting germs!

Hi there. Well, considering this, I really can't take it. everyday I MUST bathe unless I am sick of course. The longest is also a day. Not more or I will faint :)

I really can't stand a day without taking a shower. On ordinary days, I take a shower twice. Usually thrice during summer. Sometimes even if i have a fever, i take a quick shower. It helps me feel better. But when i got hospitalized, i wasn't able to take a shower for almost a week. And i can't stand it. I feel so uneasy. It's as if my hair is filled with cobwebs already. And i don't want anybody to be really close to me cause i don't know if I already smell bad. I just don't feel normal when I don't take a shower in a day.
