When it looked like celsea were bouncing back into the premiership at white heart lane, Gomes stood firm and denied Drogba's penalty to mend for the ruins of the left-footed volley minutes before the penalty! Should we now expect them to produce some step-up performance against the table leaders?
Turning to liverpool, well they have tried to cripple through to the ninth position, but after such a disastrous handicap loss to the toons, and a home draw to a team they share a position in the Dutch eredivise, gets me wondering whether there is still a problem or the team has lost focus!! What is your take on these two teams?

These two teams are very strong and have high ambitions to win. fierce competition in the English league is very strong now to be a good team and become champion. because to be a good team who expects that champions need a good game as well. and to the coaches they should be able to apply a very brilliant game for his team could be the team that occupies the top position.

As for me, Chelsea will eventually make their comeback, but they must beat United first, which on the paper are unbeaten in all their fixtures but one this season...Else, they will suffer more drama when they meet Arsenal after the United fixture...Nevertheless, Liverpool is back on track, but somehow they cannot be consistent and that really cost them much...No offense, but I personally do not think Liverpool will go back to the top four status, if they do not start making some investments during the coming transfer window...

True, I am also optimistic about Chelsea but one fact am sure about is that they might have to be a little patient because results are not about to come their way especially against the likes of Man U and Arsenal, their next fixtures! One thing they got wrong was to settle for a point at white heart lane because it was evident they lacked the much needed composure to kill off the game and tie points with United.
For my Liverpool friends, no offense, but a top flight notch, is not coming by any sooner!!

Yes, Chelsea is having a dreadful run at this moment. I think it has a lot to do with the absence of Lampard and Drogba for much of this period. I think the bench strength of Chelsea is weakened by the departures of Ballack and Deco over the summer and it is beginning to hurt them. It might hurt them more over the busy Christmas schedule.
For Liverpool, the appointment of Roy Hodgson as manager is increasingly looking like a bad decision. But to be fair to him I think he should be given the January transfer window to see if he can bring in enough players to raise the position of Liverpool.
Cheers!

I am sure that Chelsea is on his way back to the form they had at the beginning of the season. They just had a weaker period, but the result at White Hart Lane shows that they are on a good path.
As for Liverpool, I think nobody can really tell what is their problem. They have many good players, but the fail to form a real team.
I don't know what else to say, because I don't really follow the Premier League. My favorite league is Bundesliga, because I am a Bayern Munchen fan.
