Spectacles vs Contact lenses

Hi mylotters! I am going to the optic shop tomorrow either to buy a spectacles or contact lenses. But before i make my decision, I would like to ask all of you about the pros and cons of the wearing spectacles and contact lenses.

If you have already used Spectacles before, you can already use contact lenses. If you feel like you don't feel nice with your spectacles on, then buy contacts. There are 3 months contact lenses, and there are also 1 year contacts. Price is alsmost the same as your spectacles. You can choose a color suited or appropriate with your skin tone or anything that you like. XD.
You can still use your glasses at home. In my case, I only use my contacts when I go out.XD

I forgot to mention that it depends on your place. In our place, spectacles' prices are almost the same as those with the contact lenses. Some shops have higher prices but the difference is just small.

I'm wearing contact lenses for almost 20 years now. I have an acute myopia or acute near sightedness with a grade of -14. I am comfortable wearing contact lenses that spectacles. At first you'll experienced awkwardness but in the end you will feel the difference. Contact lenses are more lighter that spectacles.

Yeah, i agree with you! Especially when i am jogging, my spectacles keep slipping down my nose bridge and i find it very irritating and distracting. However this would be the first time i'm purchasing contact lenses. Any idea on what type to buy? Thanks for your response!
