Crys- I live in Minnesota and we had a blizzard over the weekend. Where I live we received 21.5 inches of snow, and today it is snowing again! We probably are close to 24 inches by now but I've not checked the forecast yet. I did hear that at least we're above zero. All weekend we were below zero by -20 windchill. Today we just finished rearranging the living room for the Solstice as we're trying to give each room a good cleaning before celebrations. Today I'm going to try to work on the kitchen, and finish the kids room. I did half of their room yesterday but it always seems there is more to do. I'm also sewing two dresses, one for myself and one for my daughter, for the Solstice celebrations. I finished the bodice for mine last night and today I'm hoping to get the skirts done and get it ready to put the zipper in. I'm going to have to do some tailor work though on mine. I'm hoping to get my daughter's pinned and cut today and sewn tomorrow. Then I need to finish a cloak for my son that he wants. Tonight I'll be painting a few walls as well to touch up. Just the joys of having little ones in the house. We've had a few marker incidents that when I used the magic eraser by Mr. Clean it stripped the paint off. I think we'll have everything done on time though. Namaste-Anora

I know the solstice is part of a religous orginization I just don't remember which one. We have been doing crafts and making ornaments for my Girl Scout girls for there christmas. I'm going to be mailing them out. I put in the laptop because my computer was off this morning. it had a surge last night and I had a get on my new toy from my momma (my christmas) and get online. I'm starting to learn alot about it. The only thing is I don't know where to go to download games and other stuff for Windows CE. I've put stuff in online and just can't find what I'm looking for. Plus I need a flash player but nothing I've found so far will work for windows Ce. Anyways, we've been cleaning too cause we've had two girl scout meetings at my house. the week after thanksgiving I had like 14 o r 15 people there between parents, and other kids not in girl scouts. We got all of our christmas decorations up 2 weeks before Thanksgiving this year. That's the earliest I've ever done it. It looks like a village on my cabinets and I have two long shelves deviding my computer area with the living room and I have the rest of the collectibles from where my mom had been collecting them for like 30 years since she was married. She's now been divorce it'll be 3 years in april and it's been a ride for her. Also we decorated our tree this year with Ribbon instead of Garland. And we put our ornaments on the tree from the time Kathryn was born. We even found the ornament that she had bought when she bought the house in september of 08. so I let her put it on the tree. I run out of things to do the more the kids are out of school. but we are getting there. We are going to have a christmas dinner on Christmas eve because my mom is off from both her jobs on christmas eve. She off most of Christmas day but she'll probably go back to sleep after we open presents.

Nope, no snow. Snow is rare here. We go visit it up in the mountains sometimes.
