I prefer Rizal be in the One thousand bill

On the contrary I think Rizal should be left in the one peso coin because it is more circulated and even the small street kids can see him, if he is in the one thousand bill , very few will ever have a chance to see him because with so many poor people I think they seldom get to see the 1,000. If Rizal was alive today I think he will really be sorry because of our economic state, imagine, his face will be phased out because of inflation

I... actually forgot who's face is showing on what bill. I'm just kind of focusing on how colorful they are, haha! They look like play-money but still very interesting to me. I don't really mind that Rizal is in the 1 peso coin. He's been there for a long time and if there's a denomination that probably won't disappear, it's the ONE peso, considering that's the initial number in distribution. One peso is the most used Philippine money, so why is it somehow considered a low rank? And like the saying goes (was it a saying? I can't remember anymore) a thousand begins with one peso (i think that's wrong, LOL. Never mind my failure to remember xD)

Hello Mimiang, Unfortunately, If you put RIzal in the 1000 Bill, it would be hard for him to be recognized by the youth. I know the value you're trying to put on Jose Rizal but it will be hard for the youth to recognize him seems he's hard to reached that way. that's why he needs to be one the peso. maybe they can put bonifacio in the one thousand bill instead since he fought in the revolution

I agree with the others.. Rizal's face is placed in one peso coin because it's widely circulated.. Everyone gets hold of this coin mmost of the time. It's like a way of showing that Rizal is for everyone to remember, to get inspiration from and to learn from. He is not just for the few elite but for all, regardless of one's place in the social ladder. :)

maybe mimiang is trying to say that Rizal should be in the 1 thousand peso bill because it has the highest value of money here in our country. But other's opinions are also acceptable. Rizal is in 1 peso coin because without even 1 peso, you couldn't save 50 or 100 and so on.
