Hello septemberxue,
I had a great unforgettable experienced during my driving lesson. It only took me three days hands on driving in a safe area for new student. On third day i was advised to drive going city proper and it was raining hard that time when we reached the city. My teacher asked me if i find the road slippery and if i felt afraid on it. There was braveness from innocence on me that time. But it pays me well from being naive of danger ahead on the road. But all because of my very expert teacher. The trust and confidence he built on me before driving plays a big impact and importance upon learning. On the fourth day i was able to roam around city proper and even went too far places. it was really great feelings of success. For now, i don't have any wheels to drive on. Hope one day i can have my own wheels of my choice. My mother owns the car and she sold it.

I would love to be able to drive but so far I don't know how to drive yet and I don't have any car. I'm planning to take a driving lesson in the future when I have enough extra money for it. Maybe because I know I cannot afford to get a car at the moment so the interest to know how to drive is not there yet. Good luck and have a nice day

I did drive at one time, but when I moved back to California in 1997, I left my car in Florida. I lived in Sunnyvale, CA and remember how urban Californians drive, and it is just as bad as I remember. I still get harassed and assaulted as a pedestrian but not as bad as a driver. So far I haven't been shot at. Several times a year I read about a driver being shot. That's the way it is here, in the United States of America.
I will reconsider if I move into a more rural area. There people are more human.

Yes, I drive a car. I have been driving for over thirty years now. I understand your feelings. When I started learning driving, and took the driving tests, I failed four times. Very sad and very disappointing. I passed the test only at the fith time. That was quite an experience. But, any way, I am enjoying driving different types of cars now, in the city and along highways.

I got my driver's license when i was 16, so almost 14 years ago. I have never been in an accident that was my fault. I have only received one ticket, and that was over 10 years ago. i am a very careful driver, and especially so with my child in the car.

I am not a driver but I drive my own car. I got my licence when I was 18. 2 years back I bought my own car. And everyday I drive it to go to my office. I remeber my driving classes. I was a little bit afraid at first of driving in the main road. But the trainer was really good. It took some time for me but I learnt good lesson. Best of luck for u.
