Road accident

It seems that everyday I always see a road accident in the news here in the Philippines. Different reason, there is that a driver is drunk. Then the concrete barrier is quite seen in evening, or it is put in wrong place.
Sometimes the truck hit the bus that loaded many passengers. It seems that it's not safe to travel until the driver or people have no self discipline in the road.

It's really sad hearing these kind of news. Just yesterday i have read from the newspaper that a truck running through the South Luzon Express way lost control and hit a bus and SUV. Then the other cars behind it got affected as well. In total, there are 15 vehicles involved in the accident.
I guess are government should impose a tighter law or qualifications for getting a driver's license. The ones applying for driver's license should really undergo a tough screening. Cause usually others pass because of their connections inside the office. Some who have licenses don't even know the traffic signs or warnings in the road. That's why accidents always happen.

That's the same feeling i get when i ride on public transportation here in our country. I never feel safe actually. I'd rather take the trains like MRT or LRT than the jeepneys or buses.

I guess the government, so with the people, should be alarmed with it. I guess there were a lot of drivers who were given license without much knowledge about the rules and regulations in driving or they're just merely abusive people. Too bad, they're already too many.

Vrianna, this not only a problem in your country. Here in India also it is a great problem. In most of the cases these accidents are happening due to the drunken drivers and poorly trained new drivers, those are directly coming to the busy roads without a proper training on driving and traffic rules.
