I have searched thru the net and find out that home made cleaning detergents are cheaper compared to branded one. However I am not sure of the quality and safeness for health and to the environment. I have just find out that some people gain profit in making soap and other detergent business using the ingredients they bought from their supplier. How about you? Do you have experience buying from unbranded soap detergent? How was it?

Well I usually buy homemade detergents because it is cheaper that the ready made detergents , quality matters. I once went to the lady who used to run home made detergents . There I saw that she not only manufacture the detergents but also supply the raw materials for detergents to the detergent factories . I think detergent business is very profitable. Well using unbranded detergent could be harmful so we should be careful while purchasing it. Always try to see the ingredients or directly go to the place where detergents are manufactured at home.

I have a friend who is manufacturing not only laundry detergents but also whitening soap for the face and body. I use her products because I knew that she also uses the same for herself.

I agree. When we go grocery shopping, we spend a considerable amount on cleaning stuff. In my effort to reduce our expenses, I looked around and found that our local public market sells unbranded and allegedly homemade detergent. They were half for what we usually spend. Unfortunately, one of my brothers has sensitive skin and can only tolerate the grocery-bought detergents. So now we are stuck with using branded detergents.

I gess people tend to that mayrah, for one reason, it's cheaper, it doesn't matte if it's harmfull to them or environment.
I know it's sounds pretty weir, how people can do that to themselves, but i gess financial problems force them to do that unfortunately.
I gess people who have a pretty good financial situation, can't deal with thse stuff & will choose only what's good to them & their health, it's always about money.
That's a luxury that poor people can't have it yet, till their situation gets better i gess.
We used to have women in here who made such stuff, they call ity home made sopa, but i gess it's not, lol, coz it contains too much chemicals & harmfull ingredients, but what can we do, we know that, but we buy it, coz it's simply cheaper.
