Okay, first of all, I'm just here to rant about my teacher-a so if you don't want to hear about that, don't read. I have this teacher,35-45 yrs. old, he's my teacher in NSTP(a saturday class , 7:30-10:30 am). I really hate it that he just posts notes beside the door of our classroom: like he's not gonna come, there's a project to be submitted, you have to attend this or that in the afternoon..etc. Instead of just emaling it to us (h has our email address) or putting it on facebook, so he won't have to be bothered on posting notes- what's the use of technology. So i have to commute 3 times just to arrive in school, to find his notes..that there wouldn't be any class.. All that time, effort and money for nothing..

Well, I guess he's used to doing this maybe, ever since he went into this field? How long has he been teaching? Nowadays, very few teachers do that

I'm not sure- two decades maybe, give or take a few years... he looks like a really serious teacher but he makes jokes all the time (with a serious face)... Yeah, maybe it's been his habit...

You have to tell him about this. Maybe he does not know how to use a computer? Or maybe he does not have any internet at home? Or maybe he just decides at the spur of the moment and makes those notes on spur? Anyway, I can understand your problem. Yes, it is indeed a waste of time, money, and effort. Save those by telling him. He is such a lazy teacher, if you ask me.

Well, I'm pretty sure he knows how to use computers- even has a laptop. Maybe he just likes to do it the old-fashioned way- with the notes and stuff. I don't really want to judge him and say he's lazy- I don't really know him well enough.

Hi there Lady 1993! I understand how you feel. I live 30-minutes away from our school and there are times when classes are suspended or there isn't anything really important to do in school and yet, the teachers choose to just meet us, assign some works and dismiss the class. It's really a waste of money, time and effort. Thankfully, there's a couple of professors there that gives work through e-mail when we can't hold regular classes.

yes, I can totally relate with you. Good thing that there are also teachers who use technology to connect and contact their students. One of my teachers even has this group just for our class and pots assignments and notes there which is helpful.

Well, at least my teacher had a good reason for not being there- I hope. He's a religion teacher so maybe he went to do charity work or host a program or something... But really, they should still inform the students on their whereabouts.

Maybe he has a really good reason not to attend the class... But he should still have informed you and your classmates if there was a class or not.Is he not around at all times, if he is- then you should take it up to the principal or president..

I don't think he is..a psycho. Going to the department is kind of a rash thing to do. I think he does have a good reason to not be there, but still he should inform us on whether he's coming or not.
