Are You A Puffer?

Now I know that I am wandering about in the mode often adopted by those that have moved to a clean lifestyle, but one thing that I haven't done for nearly 40 years is smoke. As I wander about the streets I am surprised by the number of people, young women especially, that are attached to a cigarette. Every morning as I walk past a particular office block I see the same group of women, and one man, standing outside puffing away. We all know the health risks attendant with that, but I am wondering just how many myLotters smoke and why?

Is that "I'm a little keeper" in a Russian accent?

I do not, and I never have. I have worked with smokers and often wonder how such smart people can do such a stupid thing to their body.

I've thought that too. Although I did smoke in my teens but gave up when I was 21.

I smoke. I have for a very long time. If I could go back and talk to young laglen, I would tell her to never start. We are trying to switch to the e-cig. why do I? because I am addicted silly!

Addictions can be broken you just need an incentive. There's got to be one there someplace.

I believe that you have to be ready in your own mind, then you can do it! I am just not ready. I dont want it bad enough.

Nope, I smoked for a short time as a teen and my Mom got me to quit...I'm glad she did. Now if I could just get Hubby to quit as well. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I told the Boss that she had to clean her teeth after every ciggy or I'd not kiss her. She gave up. Must have been keen in those days!

I don't smoke but I have tried a few times in the past. I had a lot of chances to start smoking and get addicted but maybe because I just simply dislike the taste and the smell. There was one time I tried smoking in my room but when I woke up in the morning, every single thing in my room was very smelly including my notebook. I felt so sick with it that I had to do something with the smell right away. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

That's great that you don't like it. Keep that way!
