Whenever I start the internet, my computer gets hanged and I have to restart it freshly after switching off the electrical connection of the computer. Moreover, while working in full swing, it often gets hanged causing unnecessary harassment to me. Can you help in any way?

That has happened to my before. I ended up deleting Internet Explorer and installing Firefox on my computer and that problem went away completely. Now I have other problems but those are so much easier to handle than the problems I had been dealing with. I wish you luck in your trying to fix your problem.

One of the things that I have noticed that tends to be a problem with our internet connection is that there are a lot of times where the modem will get bogged down. When this happens we have to turn off all of the computers, the router and the modem. We will leave everything off for a couple of minutes and then we will turn everything back on and that will typically take care of the problems. You might try and see if something like this will work for you.

You might want to try running your anti virus software and if that does not work maybe check your fan to see if it is not clogged or very dusty sometimes that is the problem if the computer is over heating it will shut off. Sorry I don't know more about computers but you could check those things and I hope that it helps.

Sorry. I just read your question again. Your computer only hangs when you start internet. How do you connect to internet? Is it through wireless or DSL?
It could be a few possibilities. One the network hardware, in which case, it is a matter of replacing that. The other possibility is malware.

do you have Acronis recovery software and anti - virus installed in your computer? maybe a virus is causing it so you have to restore its original settings and eliminate all the viruses...or maybe, its in the hardware, some parts heats up so it has to be checked by a technician to have the parts replaced...hope this helps:)

what you can do is you should bring it to the computer shop or you can ask a friend whom expert in computing. He'll test your computer and to fix it.

I would also suggest running your anti-virus software to be on the safe side. Another thing that you can do is to make sure that all of your hardware is fully inserted into the slots that they are in. Sometimes when hardware gets hot it can cause what is called chip creep. Chip creep is when your hardware gets hot causing it to slip out of the slots that they are in. As well one more thing that you might want to try is to maybe try a different electrical connection. Hope this helps.

1. Try an antivirus to find viruses.
2. If its happen in routine when u are not using internet then check your processor cooling fan.
3. Remove all cookies and temp files.

It could be several things. I got a virus on my computer about two years ago and it started doing what yours is doing. The virus tangled its way into files and the anti-virus I had wasn't enough so I had to take it off and install Norton 360. That took the tech forever to get all the virus off my computer. Or it might be the browser although it usually isn't. I hope you get it figured out. I hate PC problems.

Hanging is a capital punishment!
:) kidding
You might try checking the following:
1. Presence of a virus or trojan
2. How many programs are running at once
3. Age of the computer
If nothing works, you might try reformatting the hard drive, especially if the computer's a few years old. A lot of old files and junk clutters up the system as the years go by, and there's really nothing left to do except giving it a good reformat.
However, I'm no computer technician. I guess the best bet would be to let a professional take a look at it.

Hi there.
First of all there are two possibilities. The first one is most probabily your computer has virus infection. Virus will cause it slow down or hang from time to time. Another reason is because the hardware is getting worn out. I would suggest you reformat the computer and try it out. Before that, you can run a virus scan and chexk if there is any virus in it :)

How long have you been using your PC? Most PC have a life span of 5 years but could live up to 7 or 8, that's what happened to me after using my pc non stop for a long time, could be the beginning of the end, so many loose solderings , bloated capacitors, everything has a life span including electronic equipment, maybe it's just too old and time to change to a new one, I hope not, try exhausting and all possibilities first, good luck my friend
