I'm Sikh. It teaches about equality, gives freedom and asks that you respect all people and their belifs. I am a very relaxed on though, I dont do all the details because i feel i dont have to and no one has really siad anything to me. I loathe extremists! They ruin it all!

I dont think there is a bad religion or a right/wrong religion. Its what you beleive. Freedom of speech. The only thing stopping a peaceful co-existance of all religions and non-religous people is iggnorange and the use of hyperbole! What certain aspects are you asking about?

I am born to Hindu family. Most of my friends are from Muslim & Christians as we all re living together in our society. It is about my life upto the age of 25. Then I moved to the city where there are about 10 different religious people live and mingle with the daily.
I respect all religions and all principles and I have independently studied most of them. It was only for my own interest. Being a Hindu, I never had deep awareness of the religion. Now a days I am trying to live without the influence of any religion. All religions are basically meant for one intention and in that way I respect all of them and religions are needed also.
But the people controls the religion are not fare and I hate all of them including all the religions. Yes, for a smooth running of any religion, there needed people to be headed. But everywhere there is corruption and selfishness and it is my finding that we can live as a good man without the influence of any religion. To reach to the footsteps of God, we don't require any religion, if it is there. All are the creation of man including God. No one can deny it. If I close my eyes, I can see the God, that is all. So, what is the use of a religion here. I have seen so much of hatred and killing, and many more in the name of religion and still people divides themselves in the name of the same. So why we need a religion, if we can live peacefully without that?

I'm a free thinker. I'm not into any religion because it does not work on me. I have tried to believe in some, but i'm not interested at all. WHen i go for prayers, i'm only going though the motion, hoping the session will end soon. It's been like that since young, and therefore i know it. I do respect all the different religions, but they are just not for me.

I do not ascribe to any RELIGION as I do not particularly care for religion. I am drawn to the Bible mostly but I have respect for all beliefs.
To me religion is too dogmatic and I do not like Dogma and Creed as those are Man's rules not the Almighty's.
I think that with the Almighty being all powerful then He could have reveled Himself differently to different people so I do not nor will not disrespect ANY set of Beliefs as long as they are not harmful to self nor others. If the Beliefs run off of hate then it is not of the Almighty. The Almighty is Love no matter what name you give to Him.
Have a great day!!

Religion is very important to many people and as long as it is kind and not dangerous to others I would never speak against any of them. For me I have no need of formal religion and seek spirtual developement outside it. Two rules guide my life, "Do onto others as you would have them do unto you." And "as you sow so shall you reap." All that I need to guide my life are these two things. As for belief I am an energy healer and find my reason for existance within that field.

Hi saimrajit, I'm a human being. Humanity is my religion. The different religions divided the people. People quarrel for their own religion. If every religion lesson for peace, sacrifice, love, brotherhood and honesty then is there any necessary for so many religions. We are human being. This is our identity.

I cannot possibly answet this in one sentance (yay you!) technically I am Jewish but I'm more or less agnostic. I believe in Christ as a person and a philosipher but I'm not so sure about the Son of God part. Nor am I sure of the existence of of God. But I believe in his teachings. Though I think, if it werent for certian anger issues I would probably be Buddhist. I honestly think I oughta make my own religion. I wish I could have a label for myself but I don't.

Hi there...
If you are religious then you have a religion. Are you sure that you are religious? Let me explain please.... there is a saying In Shanti Parva of Mahabharat and it's " SARBANG SATYE PRATISTHATA". It means everything are established on truth and this truth contains 13 virtues. These are SAM(equality), DAM(self resistance). AMATCHARYA(capability of subduing influence of passions), KSHAMA (forgiveness), HRI(bashfullness), TITIKSHA(endurance), AHINGSA(non violence), TYAG(generousness), DHYAAN(meditation), ARYATWA(venerableness), DHRITI(patience), DAYA(kindness), ANASUYA(non envious).
If you have these virtues then you are religious and you have a religion, otherwise all are in vain. Not only hinduism are saying all these, all the religions have these type of explanation about what actually a religion means?
For your kind information, i have no religion, i am an atheist and don't believe that so called god and his vestiges. I just like the mottos of each and every religion which are highly fruitful to be a perfect human being.
Have a nice day.

I am a Catholic, Roman Catholic. Religion is an important part of a person's life since it shapes his or her character. It doesn't really matter what religion the person is in as long as that religion makes or helps him or her become a better person. We should all just get along and respect each others' religions..
