what do you think about catholics?

i am not a catholics, im a christian. I thought that it was very similar but i started reading this article about roman catholics. it seems like a false religion. the have changed the bible, and they worship idols.
what do you think?

I have many personal issues with the Catholic church but most of the Catholics I know are really nice people.
My best friend is Catholic (but he's gay and we all know how the Catholic church feels about homosexuality.....so hes kind of looking for a different branch of Christianity thats more accepting) I have another friend that was raised Catholic, went to Catholic school and everything. She's now and Atheist and claims that the church destroyed whatever believe she may have had. I Don't even know what the point of the paragraph I just typed is....I just I'm just rambling on like I tend to do.
