Chief Minister of Sarawak, Taib's wedding.

A few days ago people were asking whether is it true that Sarawak CM is getting married through facebook and so on. At last, the truth is prevail. He is really getting married. Today most of the major newspapers published about the wedding which was make private only to certain group of people. I heard that the Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud's married to a 28-year-old Lebanese last night. It was a closely guarded affair. They had their akad nikah at the CM's official residence in Jalan Demak and was attended by his family members, close relatives and friends. Their marriage was solemnised by the Sarawak mufti which is Kipli Yassin at 930pm and followed by a short bersanding session. It is heard that some 200 guests attended the ceremony that is including the Adviser to the Chief Minister's Office Tan Sri Adenan Satem and many more. The chief monister's press secretary, Amin Sahmat said that a wedding reception would be held next month. For your information, Taib has been single since the death of his wife, Puan Sri Laila, in April last year in which they had been married since 1959 and have four children.
