My operating system of my computer is windows xp., now since my computer is not compatible with windows 7, i just upgraded the themes of my operating system to windows 7 so that it will look like a windows 7., now the question is what would be the possible effects of upgrading the themes of my operating system? Is there anybody who also upgrade his or her themes of operating system? What was the effect particularly the bad effect?

well technically speaking changing themes and putting transformation packs only changes the look of xp but will not give you what win7 has to give.if appearance is your only concern you may do so.but the effect is that your system will respond slowly as the transformation packs and themes you use eat up a lot of ram memory.so better find apps lik "styler" which gives you the look of win7 but doesn't consume much memory.also other effects may be crashing of some applications due to less available ram memory. especially games crash or may not run due to insufficient ram.

Dear friend, as far as I can understand the level of operating system upgrades, in my opinion is a task not recommended. If your computer has been assembled to work with Windows XP, it means that its capacities are likely to turn to do just that.
Yes, it is true it would be quite possible to upgrade to Windows 7, but one thing definitely in the first place one would notice: the speed.
In fact, W7 is "heavier" and I do not know how it might work on an engine made ??to run with XP. Clearly depends also of the amount of RAM that you have available.
In conclusion, in my opinion, operation not recommended ... for now!

You can search for windows7 themes for xp, or any other software like windows blinds or styler. There are many such theme softwares that you can use.

I tried doing this before, my pc became so slow. And i really mean slow. I thing its good to just leave xp the way it is or you may compromise on perfomance. Just wait for win 7 until you upgrade your pc. And besides, i find xp cooler than win 7.
