What do you do to maximize your time?

I like having to-do lists on my dry erase board in the kitchen where I can look and see what needs to get done. Though, with having kids off for the summer I get distracted even easier and hard to get anything done as I put one foot fwd and they push me 20 back. *sigh* thank goodness school starts next week.

I am a retired veteran worker and live a leisurely and carefree life without doing a to-do list for the day.
