what is your choice love or arranged marriage? why?

Dear friend, It it is an individuals choice, but when come to love marriage in India one may have to face lots of other bitter side if they are not supported from their families. I feel it should be those couples to select their choice of marriage provided others could give their suggestions. But to forcefully delete one's love would be much worse to humanity.

I will never marry through arranged marriage because that isn't right in my point of view. Though, I know there are religions that do arrange marriages and that's fine just not for me.. I prefer choice love because it is my right to pick with whom I want to marry :)

what shall i say? as marriage is a question not between two people but between two souls who wanna live together i dont wanna take sides for love or arranged marriage. for some its love before marriage but for others its love after marriage. i have seen cases where love marriages break faster than arranged ones. the main reason for this is the word love. people tend to take it wrong. they fall for a gal whos good looking and only think of having a gal next to them or on the back of their bikes rather than thinking what has to be done in the future life to make the bond between them strong. its a trend to say i hav a girlfriend rather than say i hav a gal who'll be my wife. nobody presently thinks of marriage when they are in love or i call it infatuation. presently in a relationship i never told my would be that i love her. i asked if she'll marry me. that's how things should be. so love or arranged? i go for love "and" arranged. cause if there's true love between you not even god can separate you both.

Well Harshavardini,how can you choose between love or arrange marriage if there is no mental bonding between two hearts?And living happily solely depends upon two individuals who are staying together.It doesn't depend upon the type of marriage. I have no choice because get married hehe... and my marriage is arrange marriage. I think both marriages are good love or arrange but parents concern or permission is must in both.
