We have heard or our own clay so many other stories true story of the ancient teachings can be accepted for a new sector in a region must first make war, oppression, the local people to follow what they want. Why The Buddha / Jesus / the Prophet never gave such examples to defend Greatness He if anyone tries to disfigure He & his teachings? That's because he realizes Confidence in the teachings can not be forced, pressured so they would understand. But with all sentient life experience they will hopefully realize that All That Shaped still dicengkram by Dukkha (Agony in the sense large). Why should we insist that embrace religion? More important for the Buddhist / Christian / Islamic / Hindu / Etc No Label / Status Religion We However Do we want to implement (implementation) He is a distinguished teaching love & peace loving it? Why should we defend desperately Religion We label but deeds, we reflect Much Hate Speech distinguished Gak accordance with Any Religion? Kebijaksanaanlah needs to be done by the Forum of Religious for each other not to make reply Post menjelek-jelekan/menghina cause disunity Mankind What is fortunately vilify other religions, that there are even those who think our religion never been taught how to respect others. you agree?

yes thats true, there would be a bit more respect, and slightly less wars. The west and the east will still fight over race, and oil like they are doing now. Its just getting a bit tiresome.

Religion was created by man unlike God, I guess. Other people have different beliefs. You can't say another belief is wrong, and yours is right, not only is it being ignorant, you can't prove yours is right and theirs is wrong, so yeah arguing the difference of other religions is a waste of time.

A lot of peoples are discriminating not only races but also religion. Why are they doing that?we should respect each others religion. I am a christian and I believe in in our father Jesus Christ. But I have respect to other religions also, in fact I have been there in some buddhist temple here in our place and get some free collectibles and I have read the life and teaching of their God and how people worship him. I have islamic friends to and I respect them so much.

I think your question was sufficient food for thought. I suppose it depends at the outset of what you percieve as arguing. To me their is a difference between arguing and debating, which you do not mention in your piece, but you focus it on the argumentative aspect of it. To argue about anything usually connotates a negative or destructive disagreement, but there is a greyer area which falls into constructive debate. Now if we take the arguments way beyond the pale, we end up using weapons of mass destruction, but on the other end of the scale, we debate the arguments by putting all opinions on the table and understand and listen to the other but also try to understand peacefully the others point of view, then most of the misrepresentation and knee jerk arguments would disappear. This is probably why over my time, I have had many a Jew, Christian, Hindu and other Muslims being able to be friends of mine, yet having a fundamental differing viewpoint of religion. But rarely, have I had trouble and have always commanded respect simply because an attempt is made to take the heat out of the discussion. But why to people get agitated - well this is human nature, and there are some people who are very petty and deliberately to incite or exploit this human trait. We need to take care not to deliberate disrespectfully on others. But on the other hand, there is frustration at the lack of knowledge or the ability to respond adequately and a growing anxiety to take revenge. When we get polarised in these argumentative stereotypes and create a unity or family of distrust between parties differing beliefs, a festering decay begins to occur first locally, and then regionally, nationally and even internationally. Unfortunately, this is an age old problem, and it would be idealistic to expect anything different - but if as individuals, one would appreciate the value of fellow human life as equal to his/her own, then we would have made progress. It is the greed, prejudice, racial and power which seem to play against the virtues of respecting life. We have enough resources today to feed the world 3 times over, each and every day with still plenty to go around. Religion itself, is a mere way of life formed largely by the existence of God and a vehicle or route to Him. And we go deeper and search for the roots, we will find almost all religions have the same foundations, uniting mankind for the pleasure and worhip of God.

I think they argue to prove their religion is the best and convert the other guy. Doesn't work, though.

I really do not know why people argue about religion. It has been debate for ages and is a millennial thing already. I think most people who do, are actually very closed minded people. Religion generally is all the same. And equal.

most people are judgmental and discriminate other religions. they insist that their religion is better than another but i believe its the good actions of people that counts. what would be the use of religion if a person doesnt live by good deeds, thoughts and intentions.

Hello, That's exactly what I keep asking too! Why do people keep discussing about religion, there is absolutely no point. But you know whom I ask this question the most? Yep, myself! I keep discussing with my girlfriend about religion on a regular basis, and guess what? We end up in a fight and don't speak to each other several hours (might sound like not too much to you, but believe me it's a hard time for me). Heck, I wish I could just ignore people that start a discussion about religion, but I can't! I have to give my input and speak about what I believe in and why I do that and that's what will end in an argument pretty quickly. Oh well, I guess someday I'll grow up and be able to control my big mouth :D Have a nice day, samyboy280
