I could never figure it out, it start about 15mths ago. The thing that scared me most about it was thinking it was my heart. I used to get a strong fast pulse, shakes, numbness and pains in my chest and my left arm. After numerous times of calling the medics, visiting my GP they told me due to the fact I suffer with Bipolar it was Panic attacks. Two months later I met my partner and moved to a different GP who told me it was the muscles in my ribs and do I play any impact sports. I don't play any sports and went away thinking the Doctor knows best. By now the pain was getting worse and was happening in other parts of my body, mainly down the left hand side. After going back and forth due to symptoms getting worse and new ones coming into play such as, increased pain in one or all parts of my body, numbness anywhere, pins and needles, sickness, constipation, diarrhea, wanting to pee more, dizziness and stabbing or electric shock sensations.... what was it. I started thinking all sorts, brain tumor, cancer or heart attack. In the end I was told I'd Fibromyalgia either for a long time or the rest of my life. There's no treatment for the illness just the symptoms and even then its guess work. No one knows exactly what cause's it. I'll have good days, it'll not kill you, but then I'll have flare up until it decides to settle down on it's own, but for the most part I'll be like this. Can you imagine after a terrible childhood, getting everything I want in life, a partner and a daughter on the way.... I was mortified. My day starts with stiff pain and carries on with pain through out the day. As the day go's on I may get a few other bits of the above thrown in. My life has changed dramatically and I never know how it strike. My partner is supportive, but she works. There's very little in this country anyway to be able deal with it. People due to the fact nothing is visible take a very relaxed view and some don't believe in what your saying. Apart form the support group I go to, I live in a very pain, ill and lonely road. I just hope that at some point in the future, more is done to understand and then to be able to treat this very nasty illness.

Oh my gosh!
Your experience is so scary for me :(
Because everytime i feel something weird happening to me i always panic a lot :(
It is best to take YOGA or some exercise.
It is also good to eat fruits and vegetables to avoid illnesses.
And most of all dont push yourself on doing lot of things which your body cannot do.
Do not stress yourself always try to take NAP or REST every day:)
Having a healthy life will took away those things you have mentioned. :)
Thanks for sharing your experience.
I enjoy reading it:)
Happy mylotting pal! :)

Thank you zenkey23 for your response. Although YOGA and a healthy diet are important, it's a lot more than just weird happenings. In the States in now classed as a disability and I'm pumped up on a lot of medication for this illness newsletter@fibromyalgia.com We are trying to get the raise the awareness of this illness in this country. A lot of the problems we face is the ridicule from other people.
